How do you block caller from your desk work phone?

called left no message

VERY thick accent.. called for someone who no longer worked for our company, when I let him know that he asked to speak with another Manufacturing Engineer (didn't give a specific name). I assumed it was then a telemarketer and hung up.

Didn't recognize number, didn't answer, no message = blocked for all future calls

Called a couple of times over a few days, no message the first time, message with just status the second so assume it’s a robodialer. Blocked.

Also called here and asked for a person who is no longer employed here, very thick accent that was not easily understandable, offering a free subscription that does not apply to what our company does. Asked too many questions and tried to argue when I declined his offer, so I hung up. Telemarketer? Scam?

I answered the call at my business ………… then they hung up!! So I blocked the caller!!

Wants to sell magazine, cannot even speak English - SPAM!!!

Lots of static/background noise on the other end and nobody said anything after I answered, so I just hung up.

Got a call from 2034333271 today to my business line (519 area code). The call failed - I was already blocking 203-433-XXXX because of a previous call from 203-433-3270 (note that they differ by 1 number). I called the number just now and got 'You have reached Lister incorporated - a tele-services company.' I remember this now. I must have posted about this already about the 203-433-3270 number. It's very handy to be able to block a range of phone numbers. Serenity now.

With a heavy accent and background noise, he asked for an employee that I have never heard of. I told him he didn't work here. He then asked for the name of our HR director. I wouldn't give it to him. He became irritated and pushy. I hung up on him. He called back and I didn't answer.

Same as all the above. Kept asking questions that I could only understanding parts of. Kept re-iterating my name and address as if he wanted me to respond with a 'yes' I would never have taken the call but it came through on my company switchboard and was routed to me. At home I would have never answered the phone. This is a scam of come type no doubt.

Called our business line saying that the call was being recorded. thick accent, lots of noise and static, When I asked what I can do for him he fumbled around with the phone, maybe dropped the handset, I hung up.

Not sure if this is a scam call?

Claimed to be from a 'snowmax magazine' of some sort and wanted to confirm our information. I always answer the phone using my name, and he proceeded to ask for me by name, lol. I hurried him along, and he confirmed our mailing address as a PO Box, then proceeded to ask questions about our revenue and service manager which I refused to answer. I told him to work on his script, as if it hadn't been for the crazy thick accent, I'd have assumed he was a robot. Probably a harmless spammer, but who knows...

Calls frequently, routed through main number to my dept. Never waits for an answer. Always hangs up before I answer (after 1 ring) or even if I answer, I get a dial tone. Most likely a solicitation or SPAM since they don't wait long for an answer.

This person called while i was on another call. I sent it to vmail, but he called back within seconds. I dropped my other call since i thought it was urgent. Made me very annoyed when the the person had a thick accent which i could not understand and turned out to be spam. I hung up on him immediately.

I didn't answer but there was a vm on my phone when I got back to my desk; at my JOB. I got the number bc they didn't hang up in time and it left a jarbled vm. Is there some way to block these calls to my office??
