Claiming to be with the Veterans Assistance Foundation (VAF), which once you search the web for the official page claims they do NOT use phone outreach for fundraising, adding that they are aware of this SCAM.

It's a computer-generated voice. They're a fundraising scam.

This is the same creepy deep-voiced guy who calls every few months from different numbers in the 209 area code to both our business AND my personal cell phone FOR YEARS (once calling each within minutes of each other), every time asking 'Is Marie there?' I'm clearly a guy, and he clearly knows how to reach me, so WTF is up with this sick game?!? Even if you didn't think it was a scam -- which it is -- how or why would ANYONE use this kind of approach?!?The only thing I can think of is, he's trying to intimidate/extort people into giving him money to leave them alone.

This punk calls every 2 weeks and asks for Robert. I have repeatedly told him to stop calling to no avail.

This number called my house and asked for my brother. I said he wasn't home, and asked if they wanted to leave a message. The caller said 'no', and that they would call back.Based on the slight phases, this seems to be a robo caller.

This guy pretends to look for someone name Lewis. He has been told to stop calling but he continues repeatedly, breaking the law. I am concerned they may be terrorist, raising money for bad things. Please investigate and do something.

Caller asked for me by name. When I asked how may I help you, the recording was for a charity for veterans. It is a SCAM, since no veterans groups would be soliciting by phone.
