Lady with American accent asked if I was Mrs -----------. I said no and the call was disconnected.

2 calls in last 2 days from this number, Asian voice after short delay , he knew my name, I said I did not wish to speak to him I was registered with Telephone Preference Service, he then said that was where I was calling from and if I didnt speak to him he would cut off my phone line !! I put the phone down.This number seems to come with many different guises and is obviously a scam

Just had 2 calls from this number..knew my name but gave different address and postcode to mine..said I was being refunded £4000 from PPI claim..told her she had wrong address and post code she then hung up.

Always phone at inconvenient times, say they are disconnecting our internet etc scam.

Asian sounding guy ask if he was speaking to Mr ********** I answered yes , speaking and then he hung up

I have just changed my system to BT/openreach/EE so I might easily have fallen into the trap of thinking that I was speaking to them - maybe just checking that I was happy with the installation. Luckily - I wasn't home, but I won't be calling it back. Why can't these scammers be closed down ?

Called me to tell me my BT Openreach Broadband was showing connection errors.Asked me to type in a code to my computer - the start of a scam.I asked for his telephone number - he gave me one similar to BT Openreach, but 1 digit different.I challenged him - he offered his ID, his name, his office address in Central London.From his voice he was Indian or similar nationality.I called BT they denounced him as a fraudster.

Guy called 'David' (asian) calling from the technical department of the world wide web. I said unlikely and then he asked for me by name so I said not present. Phone put down.

Dodgy long no.Suggests fake no I'd or overseas in originHad these origin no.s before and always been scammers-Onlime feedback suggests scammers-How can we not have the technology to stop them illegally obtaining and using our details?! Wrong!They were chatting on my answer phone about how long they'd been involved-One said 11 years! How can they scam that long?!

Saw the call was international so picked up the phone and placed it straight back without listening to it.

Number Suspicious. Have no ties or links in America. Immediately knew it was a scam and blocked.Important to not when I received a call it was private and I ended the call.Then rang back on visible and ended the call. Then rang back on private I ended the call. Then blocked the visible number.

Called my unlisted number to ask me about a claim for a car accident I haven't had!!!

They also ask for the serial number on your router,don't give them any information, they're a bunch of criminals trying to get your identity.Just hang up and say p?ss off.

Phoned twice in two days telling me my BT internet service is going to be cut off.

Just rang pretending to be BT Openreach and saying illegal activity reported on my internet connection. Asian lady was quite adamant she needed to access my PC to investigate further via remote connection. Don't think so, call terminated and number blocked my end. Getting sick of this as TPS and internet equivalent registered.
