Threatening phone call.

Total scam. Got message on my ans machine. Name message was supposedly for was not my name. Tries to be convincing, leaving a case #, call-back #, sounds serious. Ordinarily, on rare occasions I've received misdirected legit calls that would require the correct person to respond, I would contact the caller and inform them of their mistake, and that they need to try to contact the correct person again. Not this time! Checked out this # first - would not want contact of any kind with these deceivers - blocked #.

Call said a complaint was filed against me

They called my 90 yr old parents and had them scared to death.

Robo call telling me they need my statement for litigation

These people (whoever they are), better have their ducks in a row... Because i paid my bills and I checked with an attorney! I have never received a letter on what it is i supposedly owe. I don't answer phone numbers I don't know due to being scammed... I just caught a collector in a collection that was paid 4 years ago. They were not even a client for collections from this hospital. Payment was made by Medicare. My credit was ruined for months and I am not done with them...

Caller identified himself as John Burrell from Alabama, he was representing a company out of Florida Core Mediation, when I asked for a address or phone number to the home office, he stated that he could not give it to me, stated he was going to send paper work for a suit of a debt that I owed to my employer ( I am retired), I told him to help himself, and he hung up, funny thing is approximately 45 seconds later I get a call on my land line from a Tony Riveria representing TE&A Mediation out of Los Angeles, Ca saying the exact same thing. Scam

This number left a voicemail stating they were trying to reach a name I haven’t used in like 10 years. Asked for the last 4 of my SS# and when I said I wasn’t giving that out the person on the phone began screaming at me. I said “okay, just tell me where this case was filed” and she began screaming more at me.These scammers don’t like it when someone outsmarts them. Court officials don’t set up appointments to serve you, and any legal action is a matter of public record. You can also file a complaint with the FTC over these type of calls. Debt collectors cannot threaten arrest or legal action.

They called for my sister on my 2nd cell phone #. My sister doesn't have my 2nd phone #. The caller stated, they are a mediator for Capital Reassurance that A.N., my sister is the respondent of a pending complaint. They provided a call back # 3345753748.This is truly a scam call.

About two weeks ago they called on my cell and left automated message, This week three times left automated message, really get a life!

I spoke firstly with a John Burrell and we ended on bad terms. (I refused to set up payment plans for an unverified debt). When I attempted to find out what the debt was he refused and told me I had to call another number and thus hung up on me when I told him to send me proof. A week went by... Got a call from a restricted number, answered it off reflex and spoke to an Ashley Stevens of 'County Courts' who told me my information was turned over to an attorney and I was going to be receiving papers within the week. She gave me the same number from the first call (334)575-3748 and I spoke with William Shasc. He gave me Capital Law firm to call and that it was a debt from Credit one. I called both. Capital Law firm deals with criminal Court cases, not civil debt collection, so that was a dead end. And while Credit one is a legitimate bank, they have no record of me ever having an account with them. (Which I knew, seeing as I haven't ever opened a credit card and that bank does not finance) The kicker is I am from OH, this collector is based in Alabama according to his number, and the law firm I was told is based in South Carolina... They are scammers or very piss poor at being legit deby collectors... ????

Harassment phone call stating they were calling to collect a debt for my x wife of 10 years. These people are complete assholes. If you get a phone call from this number do not answer it.

She stated that I took out a payday loan in 2011/2012, I stated I never took out a payday loan of any type. I filed bankruptcy in 2015, she then stated this was not covered by the bankruptcy act. That if I didn't pay the 480.00 today then I will have to pay 1143.00 not including court cost and be garnished of my wages.

They called & left a voicemail saying they were a mediation department and that my husband had a complaint filed against him and for him to call back with a reference number. The call shows up as a call from Alabama. We have no idea who this or what it would be about.

Called me this morning saying they wanted to resolve a debt that I had no idea about wanted me to give them $400 or pay $800 in court said they was serving me with papers

This number calls me daily leaving a message saying that a complaint has been filed against me. They also leave a file number. The telephone number that shows up on my caller I.D. is different than the one that I am asked to call. They are now calling my husband looking for me. It is a scam.

Got a call from this #. Was a message for someone that doesn't or ever has lived here. I've had this # for 10 years

A person stating she was a process service 'with ALL' the counties called and said there is a pending court action against me. Gave me this number to call with a file number to reference. Said I would be calling an attorney office to get all the information. I don't know of any pending court actions against me on a last name I haven't used in over 13 years.

Says a complaint was filed against me, asking for wrong person. Most likely a scam. Automated voice in the massage and wants you to call another number.

Calls and leaves no message. Thanks to you who have commented. I have no clue why this caller is harassing me. I have no debt so this is highly suspicious.

Said it had a complaint against me

Was told by a ex coworker that they called for me on his phone several times they left a message for him with a reference number and I was to call them back I called them back and no answer it just kept ringing they left no number in the message I got the number off his caller ID they stated there were complaints agenst me and I was to call and give a statement they ask for me by name the funny things us the number they called was never my number and neither if us know this company searched it on line nothing but spam reports it is even coming up as spam on my phone

Got the same msg(frm Al.) saying I was named in a complaint. Called the no. left on voice mail (in Co.) and call kept failing. 😡. Call came up Potential spam.

I just got a call from this number and it ask for my son by name but I don’t take care of his calls plus the message was jumbled up so all I said was hello, listened and hung up.

From answering machine - recorded message as follows: 'You're being contacted from the mediation department of Core Retrieval. A file in our office has listed you as the respondant with allegations (garbled word) to be filed against you on a complaint. Please press 1 to speak with a claim representative now.' Pure B.S.

got the exact same message.

Bern getting calls fromthis number and several different numbers say the same thing as above. It is half recording and half human voice saying she contacted the attorny and papers will be dilivered to my place of unemployment and residence. Im sick of these calls been getting from all different numbets i have a list of them that i am keeping and been blocking the numbers.

Called my young son advising either he or his attorney needed to call this number back and scared him. Phone call said it was from Garden City, KS, but return number was this one to Alabama
