Randomly called me.. obviously a scamster

A woman asked if this was so and so, I said yes, she then asked to confirm my address which I said 'no'..., and she hung up.

The company's name is State Collection. They are used by Aurora Baycare for debt collection.

Most irritating caller. Called from 4148775471. When I answered, I was on hold (huh??? You called me!) and then I was asked to state my DOB and home address for verification purposes. When I told her I wasn’t comfortable doing this without knowing what it was regarding, she said, “That’s ok. We’ll just mail you a letter.” And hung up. They’ve tried 3 more times since (once only 2 minutes apart) and have never once left a message.

Refused to answer my questions.

Claim to be a debt collector for Aurora Health Care.

Received numerous calls. They will ask for your DOB and if you refuse to provide it like I did, they will ask for your house address (number only). Person would not disclose organization they are with. I asked what the matter is concerning and person could not disclose. Rep. said I could call back the # on caller ID. She was at least a nice person to deal with. So, I came here and saw it might be related to Aurora Healthcare Billing. Logged into my actual Aurora account and discovered in the details section a drop in payment amount due. So, calls from this # are legitimate and you should answer the phone and work with them to determine your options. Thankfully, my amount owed was small, but Aurora Billing never tried to contact me to get payment and did not mail any communication/statement that they were sending this small debt to collections. If you use Aurora, pay close attention to your accounts online for billing so you can ensure this doesn't happen to you.

A woman, wanted to confirm my address and personal information. She called to my cell phone first but i didn't answer and she called to my office phone number right away. As I refused to give her my info, she got upset and said that she will mail a letter and I need to keep an eye on it.

They think I'm going to give them my info in these days and times! Yeah right. Mail me the bill! WTF!

Recording verifying my name then 'hello this is a recorded and monitored line, who am I speaking to?' I hung up.

First they started calling under the phone number (414) 877-3165, leaving voicemail messages about being a state debt collector. The Voicemail messages were Identical each time, same voice, same background noises, words spoken exactly the same way. So I thought it was a scam and after a while of ignoring them they continued to call daily anyways under this number (414) 887-5471 and haven't left me alone since.

i called Aurora billing and they sent 200$ to collections w/o notifying me. This number evidently is a collection agency for Aurora billing.

Asked many questions but did not want to answer any from me. Eventually he said that I'd receive a plain letter in the mail. I called the number back from a work phone and she kept insisting on getting my name. Then finally said she was a state debt collector...which doesn't make any sense to me.

Left message saying they represented 'State Collection Agency' about collecting a debt. Their call-from number was 414-877-5471 (southeastern Wisconsin) but State Collection Agency is located in Madison, WI (608 area code). They left a call-back number: 1-800-207-6153, but I don't plan to call back.

Calling looking for someone else, wanted to validate personal information despite having the wrong number. News said these calls would only get worse.

This number calls and calls, noone on the other end...the calls are never ending... multiple times a day!

Recording on voicemail. AT&T with some kind of offer. Didn't listen.

Won't tell who's calling and why...also bad connection.

Don't call a business and play a recording that starts, 'Thank you for holding for the next ava-' because that's the most I'll listen before hanging up.

The Voicemail Messages between the two numbers were identical, if i wouldn't delete them daily they would flood my voicemail box.

This number calls constantly!

They call so many times its annoying people do work and have jobs. They never leave a message so you know what its about. The one time I answered they asked for my personal information. Your calling me if you don't have it then you don't need it goodbye! But they just won't stop calling.

Stated he was 'Greg, calling about a personal business matter.' He refused to give company name or nature of the business matter

Got a call at place of business looking for myself. Would not ID themselves and only left a name of Brad. Not planning a call back.

calls continuous with automated message... very annoying

Called, left no message.Went to 800-Notes saw the 2 pages of complaints there.If it WERE a collection agency, they would of left a message, and they DEFINITELY wouldn't put you on hold as soon as you pick up.Someone needs to step on these bugs
