That number is probably spoofed - faked - and the caller is nowhere near you. BLOCK them!

From north ohio. No vm left. Wish that they wouldn’t call my cell

first i got a call regarding my mom and how there was a case filed against her and he gave me a “Case Number” then a “ Legal Department” number and gave it to my mom. that’s was a scam, then this number called. Close to where i live is where it was coming from. i never answered but also gave it to my mom. scary.

Called early in the morning. I was waiting for a different call so I picked up. I said 'Hello?' Twice and got no response, the it hung up. I could definitely hear a machine sound.

Called a few times, I never answered. No VM. Decided to pick up and said hello twice then could clearly hear him/her/machine hang up. Im from Toledo area.

Called the number back and the lady said she was with consumer “something” insurance. I said I think you have the wrong number and she immediately hung up.

I actually answered this call and the woman stated she was with consumer 'something' and wanted to discuss my auto insurance payments. I said 'okay.'. She asked me what my zip code was and I replied 'you are the one who called me to discuss my payments'. The woman hung up on me. I was prepared to inform her that I am an agent at my auto insurance agency and how does she fit in with AllState.

Called my cell phone. Wanted to talk to be about my car insurance payment. I knew that they were not from my insurance company so I told her 'my payment is just fine do not call this number again.' Then I hung up.

Called saying she was from “consumer” something or another. Stated that due to new laws I would be able to save money on car insurance. She asked me what my my zip code was and when I politely told her I didn’t have time at the moment she hung up on me. I’ve since blocked the number.

Rule 1 legal entities and public run or regulated entities, alway's send mail or public official to notify you of there purpose of contact! Never give info on phone to anyone that calls you if not sure

Called my work cell about car insurance payments. Tried to get me to give information so she could 'save me hundreds each month'. When I politely declined she tried to press for more information, including my zip code, phone number ( hello! you called me), etc... I told her that this was work number and not to call again.
