Phone rings 1 time then nothing. Going on all day. Blocked number but still calling

calling back to back to back to a nursing home asking for different residents with each call. they have been asked not to call anymore and continuously call

SO, this number called me and woke me up. I did miss the call by a few seconds. I looked it up and found it's registered in South Bend, IN. this caller didn't even leave a voicemail. I do not want to be contacted by telemarketers. I do have my number on a do not call registry...i see i'll need to redo it. >=/

I missed the call and there was no message. Everything I found claims it to be a medical survey. All my phones including my mobile are registered with the donotcall.gov website. I I shouldn't be getting these calls.

They call several times a day. It's getting old.

Called me minutes ago and didn't leave a message. Must not have been important.

If it is a survey for a hospital stay or visit, then the hospital should give you a heads up about getting a call. These days there are so many scams most people will avoid the call. They should also leave a message instead of calling back 5 times a day....

Liar! You are the ONLY person who agrees with this call. None of us had any HOSPITAL stay, so why are they doing a follow up on us? You must work for them. Besides Hospitals don't make yearly checkups, Doctors do.

I did not recognize name of 'PRESS' or number '574-309-9553' so let the answering machine take it. They hung up before the machine completed it's message. No idea who it was. I NEVER answer the phone unless I know theperson/company calling even though I'm setting right next to the phone. If itis a legit call they will identify themselves/company and reason for contacting me.I will then decide whether I wish to talk to them.

WOMEN CALLED AND SAID THEY WERE WITH MED A CARE AND WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT MY HEALTH AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. MY PERSONAL HEALTH RECORDS ARE NOT TO BE USED FOR THEIR USE. SOME ONE USING THIS NUMBER SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM. I CALLED MED A CARE AND REPORTED THE TELEPHONE CALL AND NUMBER. I WAS TOLD DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION THIS IS NOT MED A CARE.

Called at 10:30 pm about health survey...very suspicious.

They call and never leave a message. So i will never pick up the call. I have blocked them twice and they find another way, I dont want5 to take a survey.

I agree I have had no hospital stays... and our local Drs/ nurses follow up on their own... not hire someone 5 states away.. SPAM

It is Press Ganey(? spelling) they do independent surveys for medical clinics, dr's and hospitals around the country. If the service is paid by Medicare and you use their services they independently check the services performance both personnel, workers and management. No names are used just choose a.b.c.d. kind of answers. I am on dialysis they send us a survey to get our opinion of how we are treated etc. Medicare pays most of the bill they are checking that we get our moneys spent ok. They send the survey by mail then follow-up with a call.

They called me two days in a row and asked for me by name, but mispronounced my name. I have an out of state unlisted phone number. I blocked this number. If they ever somehow call back I'm going to pretend to be interested and waste a ton of their time only to pretend to have a heart attack at the end. I'll record children crying and play it for them to hear.

I know why getting these calls. They are contracted by hospitals to conduct a survey mandated by Medicare/Medicaid. If you have had a hospital admittance, then likely to receive a call, perhaps several.

I did get a call from this number, but they didn't leave a message (I usually don't answer if I don't recognize the number). In reading the other posts, I will say that I did have a recent hospital stay, so maybe it is legit, and maybe those who had no hospital stay were called accidentally...people do dial wrong or receive the wrong information at times I would think! :)

You might want to have your 'facts' in order before you call someone a liar! The company is Press Ganey & Associates and the DO medical surveys on all kinds of medical services. I'm getting calls now because I didn't respond to their survey that was mailed to me in regards to my dialysis center care.

It is a health survey. I had outpatient surgery and am to be followed for a year. They are legit. Shows as Press on caller ID and this is what will make most people suspicious of the caller to include myself.
