Repeatedly receive calls from this number. Sometimes in quick succession. Got called three times just today.

Have received several calls that display on my caller ID as ASPCA and the number 646-883-2008. No message ever, I do not believe this iis a legitimate call from the ASPCA. I have an ongoing monthly donation to the ASPCA and have never received a call from them, only mail correspondence. Their area code is 212, not 646.

Call your credit card company ASAP and explain the situation. They will stop payments immediately and investigate.

ASPCA does not generally make cold calls and their NY area code is 212. Please do not let this stop you from making donations the ASPCA through legitimate means such as their website. This number is a scam.

They've been calling me the last few days and they leave no voicemail. Never give payment information to anyone who calls you and claims to be a charity. If you want to donate, go to the charity's website and contact them directly.

My AT&T Call Protect registered the 6 calls I got in rapid succession to potential fraud.

I got a call.. asked for either me or my husband by name.. I told the person my husband donates to aspca on his own and that we do not donate to unsolicited calls.. the woman started to argue with me and accused me for hating animals.. I told her I only hate the 2 legged variety that are pushy and think the public is stupid and then hung up on her...

I've put this on my auto-reject list. I do support ASPCA, but will NEVER donate through an unsolicited phone call -- too risky. I don't know why legitimate charities use these fundraising services. Judging from comments on the reporting sites such as this one, these calls just tick people off. And, they do not seem to be cost-effective.

I’ve been getting numerous calls at all times of days and everyday from New York. I block them all. I finally decided I would answer and it hangs up almost immediately after I start asking who is calling and to please stop calling me that this is harassment. Then today I decided to look up one of these numbers as this one had the same MO as the other calls. I am unsure who is calling but according to everyone else it is the ASPCA. If that is the case I WILL NEVER DONATE to them again. Donate to your local SPCA chapters as the ASPCA does not allow you to allocate how and where their funds are spent. These calls are harassing and obnoxious. Why are they calling and hanging up? I don’t even hear anything pertaining to what it is or an option to be put on a do not call list. I’m floored by how invasive and ridiculous this is.

I received a call and spoke to someone who said they were calling for the Aspca. I’m worried now that I did not verify before donating. Anyway to check it out?

I answered and could hear someone talking in the background then they hung up. Sounded like a call center. Blocked now.

I recently found out this as a scam. I donate to the aspca (guardian member since 10/2017) and this call supposedly claiming they represent the organization is not legitimate. Mistakenly donated over the phone. How can I stop this from continuing to take my money? Worried....extremely worried!
