Just got a call from this number, claiming to be from Scotia bank. I ended the call quickly but wanted to report it to warn others.

This phone number called us about 8:00 PM tonight. Please stop calling us.

Another call from these people at 7pm (3rd this month) that was left unanswered when I saw the number. I'm registered with the federal government do not call program so they will be reported there too.

Told me that 5000 CAD complimentary accidental life coverage is offered by Scotia Bank and i can only apply through this call.

Tried to listed a bunch of offers for pre-approved life insurance. And offer me free offer of 5000$. Also said it was recorded message

Received a call from this number saying they were from Scotia Bank started asking questions that were not appropriate, then telling me that my account was in arrears and needs to be rectified...Scammer..nothing of the kind..

Called trying to sell Life Insurance on behalf of Scotia Bank Insurance. Said I was pre-approved for 200.000 with no medical checkup. All for $36/month. 5 minutes later my wife got the same call. They refused to mail us the information they were trying to sell.

Took 1 min for them to respond to my 'hellos'. They knew my name and said they were calling from Scotiabank Optimum and I told them to put me on the do not call list since I've been getting calls from them every day for the past week and she said ok and thanked me for my time. I realize now they're scammers but it is concerning that they know my full name. They always call from different numbers. Trying to sell me some 'free' life insurance that I apparently qualify for.

Called, robot voice asking for my girlfriend who I used to live with. WTF. Said press “1” if that’s me, “2”, if it’s not. Didn’t press any buttons because seemed scammy. If someone needs to reach her a real human can call her at her actual number not my personal cell!

At the beginning he told me that he was calling from Scotiabank and that it was a 'quality control' call, I told him that I was asleep and that and not in the mood to continue with that conversation , he got upset and told me he would call another day and hung up the phone

Selling insurance and I didn't agree to it. I told her I'd call my own bank advisor. Kept offering the 'complimentary' for today. Very noisey background. Didn't sound legit. Still going to call my bank advisor and see what's up. Never got an email with this information or mail.

I received a few calls from this person, all from different numbers within the Toronto area.He calls himself Alex, and lets you know he is a phychic thats had a vision for you. When he called from the different numbers, I hung up and immediately blocked. Although every month I seem to get a call from a different number and again its ALEX! I ask him why he got a different number to contact me and that I've never given any site or phychics my number. ITS SPAM AND I AM NOT PAYING HIM TO TELL ME A F***ING 'VISION'I've met some REAL pychics and they have come up to me and told me without payment. This guy is a fake, fraud and block!!
