someone called me on july 15, 2019 . He knew my first and last name. He said was calling from BMO[bank of Montreal]and giving me a promotion of $300 dollar for opening a new account. I was very annoyed by this phone call and told thatI don't want to be bothered by scammers and the only way I could answer his question would be when on my phone I will read BMO. I also told him to go look for a good job and I hang up on him.I hope that this kind of fraud will be discovered and punished accordingly.

One of many phone calls that should be banned. One of many persistent scam/marketing calls that refuse to stop.

Called Dec 21, 2021 - stated they were BMO and wanted to offer a service package (I have some banking services with BMO so I kept the call going). They already knew my name and address on hand and started to inquire more about my personal identification such as my date of birth - which I found super sketchy and had a gut feeling I was in the process of going through a scam. Literally hung up before answering that question and blocked the number asap.
