I don't anyone in prison in California or how my number would be an approved phone number (as their website states) for a prisoner to call. Called 4 times in a row. I answered the third time and after listening to the robot, I hung up. It called me right back again. This is BS!!

For anyone who wants to know, this is a call from Houston TX which is the service provider for correctional facilities. My brother is in prison in Indiana and uses their phones, which will show up 713-568-6973. I believe the service provider is 'GTL'. Don't complain about 'this number calls at all hours' because it's someone YOU know who is trying to contact you. Just an fyi, the first call is free but it's only one minute :)

They have been calling my mother's number 10 times a day, just bank air, said if they call this number again I was going to report them, then they hung up.

Phone rang I answered..no one said anything..dead silence then it automatically disconnected..then it called back same thing happened..I restarted phone and my phone did an weird automatic system update. I have boost mobile. Very strange

The calls wont stop day and night 32 calls in 2.5 days and cant block .grrrr

This is really ridiculous. They call all hours of the night and day. Don;t know when to stop. In a period of 3 hours I received 10 calls.7 from this number and the 3 from an unknown number. AND YOU CAN NOT BLOCK THEM AT ALL.

I don't know anyone in a prison in Texas. My son is in prison in Lawton, Oklahoma. I continue to keep receiving these calls about every other day. When I answered there was nothing said. I blocked the call but they still continue to call. It's getting really ridiculous.

I need to know were this phone came from so. I know who it is trying to call me can u please tell me what to do to find out who it it because they don't say there name

Have called me 9 times since 8 am and it's now 10:44 am this is crazy and uncalled for

They have called my phone twice today only stating they have a collect call from someone in jail and to press option one to have $9.99 bill to my cell phone bill for 15 minutes!! NO WAY!! I hung up.

8 times in a row. I will not answer a call without knowing the caller. I do not know anyone in prison. Make it STOP!!

This number has been calling me and wanting me to except a collect call but won't give the name of who is calling. Why can't this number be blocked???

I had 7 voicemails where the robocall was saying to press different numbers for different options. Then it was like the message started over, they said they were calling from North Central Correctional Institution and then the man said 'Star'. Then automation again saying to press whatever number to connect and then it hung up. There were also a couple voicemails that were just blank. I looked up the facility and it's a real place; but I do not know anyone in jail, let alone named Star....

I am so sick of this number calling my phone. I don't kno who it is, they don't identify themselves but it says from a correctional institution.

I get a call from this number a lot, but every time I answer, it's quiet for 7 seconds then hangs up. I would think if it's from the prison it would say a little speech saying 'so and so is trying to call' yknow, their little speech. But nothing is said. It's not that I'm really complaining because I've been expecting a call from a prisoner in Houston Texas, but I'm just confused as to why there's no voices and just silence. Is it because it's on my smartphone?

When it says this is a call from ____ (no name.). From___( no name), a correctional facility. There is no name of the correctional facility at all none of this should be legal telemarketers should not be legal I get time text to I rather text or whatever they call it

Scam no person. I already talk to the person I know from prison and when he calls they say his name and the correctional facilities from. This is a scam. Only stupid people would provide a payment

The inmate calls from a 850 area code which is the prison he is in but then I get calls from 713-568-6973 and an 800 number saying the same thing. Repeatedly calling to set up collect calls. If I wanted to do that I could set it up from the original correctional facility he is calling from. Theses call are ridiculous
