Mother received call stating we could possibly wipe loans.

Left a voicemail msg about shut down and loan being wipe out.I figure this had to be fraud after I called back and it was automated voiceIf you need help with student loan can find on student loan website.

Purely a robocall meant to sound like someone named 'Jenny' had left a voicemail. So very illegal. Reported to FTC for DNC registry violation and various other federal crimes (spoofed ANI and robocall).

I got the same message as the many who reported above. Someone saying she's Jenny, using a voice suggesting we've talked before. Her pronunciation of loans sounded like lung...and then something about wiped out so I phoned back to say it was a wrong number. Never again...I got a robot answering service that began to ask for i.d. info about my loans. Clearly a spam info gathering and I hung up.

“Oh hi it’s Jenny” out of breath and informal. Student loan forgiveness gov’t will magically erase the loan for me.

Jenny is full of it.

Received the 'voicemail' - a robo call stating that my student loans can be paid off b/c of the gov't shutdown.

How did you find out that they spoofed their ANI or Automatic Number Identification?

Got a VM from Jenny also saying because of some government shut down my student loans could be completely wiped because of William B. Ford Act. Seems very fishy. Never called back. The return number she offered was 725-465-9913 although she called from an 844 area code (twice).

Also received the voicemail from 'Jenny' letting me know I can wipe out my student loans due to government shut down blah blah blah blah. My student loans have been paid since 1999!

Same as above about student loans and William T Ford funny thing is is I got a full scholarship and never had a student loan
