You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or 'not me' letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it. They have called my cell phone a minimum of 4 times a day. Every day this week. I only answered the first time. When I asked what the call was in regards to, they said that it was a, ‘personal business manner and they are only able to share such information with the individual that they are attempting to reach.’ 🙄 Which a standard legal phrase that is used by debt collectors while attempting to obtain money that they believe they are owed. So, permanent block from now on. 😎

I'm still receiving 3 - 4 calls per week to my cell phone. The calls all originate from the 737-443 exchange, specifically from 747-443-5719, 747-443-5819, 747-443-5919. 737 is an Austin area code, but internet research indicates these calls are from SWC Group, formerly Southwest Credit Systems, a debt collection agency in Carrollton, Texas.

No CNAM. Has called my cell phone many times. Called twice within a few seconds starting in February, multiple times over last several weeks. Twice again today, once in the morning and once this evening. Left no messages. Blocked after the first few unsolicited calls. ShouldIAnswer app indicates 5 'Negative Telemarketer' reports.

Hmmm. I've never been approached by any toll tag authority for non-payment. Also all my toll payments are automatically extracted from credit cards registered with all regional toll tag authorities. In any event, no toll tag authority has my cell phone number. This still sounds like a debt collection agency without scruples.

Caller claims to work for an agency hired by the state to collect outstanding balances from CTRMA tolls (183, 183A, 71, 290, 45, 1). Caller stated that an agency that was responsible for collecting tolls folded, and Southwest Credit Solutions is completing the collections that the other company did not. Apparently, the records of these outstanding balances go back three years.

I didn't answer call.

This company, Southwest Credit Systems, claims it was employed to collect outstanding balances from the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority.

Have gotten at least 12 calls during the last two days. Who are these people??
