I agree that this is a total scam with people trying to identify themselves as being from Apple. I received one call today and they left a message on my landline. We never answer any toll-free calls or calls without a proper caller ID, and especially if they only show 'Unknown Name.' A female robo-voice left a message that went exactly like this; 'WARNING ALERT! Someone is trying to access your Apple account from different locations. For your safety, we are going to block your Apple ID. Please press '1' to connect to an Apple customer care on priority.' Bogus and too stupid if anyone replies. Immediately go and check your account and if it works, then of course they are fakes. Call Apple and they will tell you they will never contact you with such an idiotic message, especially to your home phone if it is not a registered number on their system. In other words, how did they get our home number if we have Apple products through AT&T and our mobile numbers are registered with them also for iCloud, etc. The scams keep coming so fast and furious. BLOCK them if you can, however, most systems do not allow blockinig of toll-free numbers. Good luck and DO NOT answer, call back or try to speak to them to tell them so stop. That is exactly the response they want from you.
