Caller represents himself, in a rather poor foreign-accented english, as a Medicare representative calling to confirm if you have received the new, laminated, Medicare Card, or if you are still using the old paper card ... and, of course he'll like to have the number to verify ... CID: 800 Medicare

After hanging up with the caller ID I called and spoke with a representative from 1800MEDICARE. I was told that no one from Medicare had called and to keep an eye on my grandfather's Medicare statements from now on. The callers are trying to get Medicare numbers. They've been making Medicare claims, saying they are doctors treating Medicare patiants.

Foreign male saying from medicare confirming my diagnosis of back and shoulder pain, which I do not have, then said well it must be my feet and ankle pain. I said nope. So he says you don’t have any pain? Nope! Have a good day! Just trying to sell something I’m sure. But BEWARE! Caller ID says MEDICARE AND GIVES REAL MEDICARE PHONE NUMBER! But this call was a SCAM!!!
