I contacted Microsoft Support through their software and was linked to 1-800.642.7676. The Indian answerer was very courteous ,seemed knowledgeable wanted my name and email address and then wanted to link to my computer. However I did not consent to this last request and he was unable to give me any employer ID. Paul Freeman

Told me my computer had been taken over and had been used for fraudulent buying of goods and services. Wanted info about my computer, who uses it,a nd that they can help me resolve the problem if I gave them remote access.....NO WAY.

They call weekly informing me my computer is compromised & they will take control of it and then charge me $199 to fix it.

was told my computer had a security breech, locked it up. was told for $249.99 it could be fixed. techs name was robert cooper.( he gave me his phone number and ext).

Person rang my phone stating that they were from Microsoft, as I have had been having issues I believed them and was working with them on my computer giving them access before I disconnected. Now I am very worried what they will do??

This number showed up on my screen claiming to be from Microsoft saying my computer had a virus. Agent gave his name as Kevin #MS10282. I told him that I would have to check it out.

Someone called me from that number, scary asf. I heard someone breathing hard slowly and it echoed a bit. Heard a guy say hello and i can hear the background sound of his television it sounded very very odd

Said he was Bruce Norris from Microsoft and that he was calling from a secure line. Wanted access to my computer. Allowed then found out number was a scam and cut access.

I got an email saying my email had been accessed in Romania and if this was not me to call the number. The number did not connect and I’m now realising it is yet ANOTHER scam!!!!

Called many times in one day. Message left says that my Microsoft license is cancelled because my IP address has been identified all over the world. Tells me that I need to talk to a technician to resolve this.

I just received a charge for 10$ smh I have an Xbox but haven't used it in 6 years and it was never once hooked up online to even have a connection to my money... Hopefully My bank will have my back..

This is a total scam. They charged $108.24 on August 3rd 3 times to mt debit card. When I contacted my bank's fraud division they said they had been getting a lot of calls about this.

Did not get to talk to them but was charged $10.59 for no reason. Its on my bank statement. I need help resolving this issue.

I get calls for a different person on my phone that I've had for years. I get multiple calls for this person every day. When I try to tell them this bad person gave out my phone number, they just hang up on me.

never got a call, but i was charged $10 on my chase account. i'm calling this in to my bank tomorrow so this doesn't become a recurring fee. not only do i not have an x-box, but i also don't have ms office so i don't see why microsoft would need to call me

I looked up this number because it showed up twice on my bank statement as MSFT *Billing WA. I'll call them tomorrow to see if I can find out exactly why their charging me $20.00 plus dollars a month for.

I received the same charge for no reason as well, I'll be calling my credit card company tomorrow.

I called to report a problem logging into hotmail. The 'tech person' called me back on my home phone to help me, and said he needed to take over my computer to find the problem. I told them I wasn't comfortable with that and hung up.

Caller ID said it was Microsoft, no one would respond when call was answered. After several attempts of saying hello, the line disconnected. We called it back and it was an automated system claiming to be Microsoft trying to get you to enter personal information

hey it happen to me to what can I do to stop them from doing it again??? I hope that don't take money every month I don't have money to spend for stuff that I don't know about... I do have an xbox but I have updated it in a while now if they keep this up ill go to my bank and see whats going on

I just had same listing on my statement but for $10.79. My son has an xbox live account and they had asked for the numbers on the back of the card. It said nothing would be billed to my account it just needed to be updated. This was done with the xbox... Let me know how it goes to get them to stop billing you.

This is a call from Microsoft. It is automated by computer and probably designed as a follow-up call from some previous customer service. I/we do a lot of stuff with Microsoft for work and they tend to call us back after we have called them and finished a tech issue.
