The caller stated they were calling on behalf of Federal Loan Services and asked if I was 'my name.' I said yes and they asked to verify my date of birth. I refused and told them I would not give my date of birth to someone that called me if I don't know them. The lady seemed very agitated at that and gave me their number to call back (it matched the caller ID). I asked what she was calling for and she refused to confirm based on me refusing to give my DOB. Considering I do not have student loans, never have, and I haven't had any loans of any type in years, this is definitely a scam.Do NOT give out personal information unless you 100% know the person or company at the other end. This company is using shady business practices to 'confirm' your personal information. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM.
