I'm a small business owner. The phone number is a legitimate UPS number. but that doesn't mean that the caller id information is legitimate (see cindy's post). I called UPS back, they asked if I was expecting a package (I was not), and did a tracking search for my address, and found someone else's order (already delivered) at my address but a different suite number from mine. i said that sounded legitimate, though it had nothing to do with me; and I asked the rep Titus Wortham if UPS places outgoing solicitation phone calls to businesses. The rep (who was very polite and professional) researched and said 'no'. The rep did not know why I would be called, either.So I followed Cindy's instructions to report the call. The rep issued a message to his supervisor, to call me back within the hour.
