This is not BOA. There is no unusual activity on my account. I called them and they verified that. They will always text me if there is a problem.

These folks are scammers, if you dont answer they leave you a voice message. Dont pick up the call, dont call back. Bank of America's fraud line is a different number.

Be careful! They called me and asked my Driver Licence number and my BoA online ID. My cousin works in BoA for 3 years and he told me BoA representatives never ask for sensitive information like online ID or Driver Licence number. It was totally scam!BE CAREFUL!

I received a text from 39989 'FREE TEXT': Bank of America has temporarily restricted the use of your debit card #(last 4 numbers of my debit card here) due to unusual activity. Call 844 585 0485. To Opt Out reply STOP.I didn't recognize the number I was texted from, so I called the bank directly, and my card was temporarily restricted like the text said. We reviewed some recent transactions and the restriction on the card was removed.

Call from 'Bank of America fraud department' stated that a temporary hold had been placed on our account due to a fraudulent charge of $0.37 from an internet health company. The caller had the last 4 digits of our card account, our name and obviously our phone number. We called the phone number on the back of our credit card and the BOA representative said that this number was NOT AFFILIATED WITH Bank of America. There was a charge of $0.37 from the store the phone call stated. The Bank representative said that they could have gotten our information from a discarded receipt and were trying to get more information about the account so they could access it. A common scam they said.

Had fraud transaction after ordering online, received a text from Bank of America verifying I was attempting to use. Next morning I missed calls from this number , message said my account was on hold due to fraud. It was all automated when I called back wanted my last 4 of SS number, security code on back of card. WAS TO WEIRD, so called the bank and was told they did not call. Dont give them any info. Bank will never ask for these things.

This is a scam. They also called me at 2am and woke me up from a sound sleep which **** me off like no other. So I called back to what was an obviously fraudulent answering service. Block this number.
