received call from thi number at around 11:00 am. The message told me they were calling from my healthcare provider and to call back on some number, but know my providers number so i think it is a spam and i am not calling back/ or will call back on the number i know is surely of my doctor and confirm about this call.

Recording- said it was Atrium Health regarding a bill.

Continues to solicited.

They keep calling but don't leave a message. I'm just going to block it.

Medical bill collector

This is legitimate. I don't know if it is Carolina's Healthcare themselves or a bill collecting company for them, but they were able to tell me all of my bill information.

Received a call stating I owed a bill from Atrium Health. Checked my account on the Atrium site and am up to date. Also the number for billing from Atrium is different than the number they said to call back. I believe it's a scam.

i started receiving these calls today. I have yet to receive a bill from Carolina Healthcare system. How in the heck are you supposed to pay something if you haven't even received a bill.

I also got a call from this number and they said they were from my healthcare provider... I do not recognize this number as being from my healthcare company..

Has called my mobile phone 3 times in an hour and not left a message. Have now had to block the #.

I've had repeated calls from this number. After reading this, in blocking the number. If it were healthcare-related there's no reason to not leave a voicemail. Thanks, everyone!

Missed call. No message left. I don't know this number. Called about 10:30 in the morning.

Received a call from this number, but when they asked for personal information I realized it was a spam! Do not give personal information on the phone when you have not initiated the call.

Same as above. Calls pretending to be healthcare. I do not have an outstanding bill (called the local # of my healthcare). Also suspect scam. If you do return the call do not give them any information- make them give you the info. Chances are they don't have it.

Unfortunately it is a legal communication from the BILLING department of Carolinas Healthcare. They will call and leave a message but it's impossible to get back in touch with them unless you have hours to wait on hold and the patience of a saint. They will also start calling you before you even have the paperwork from the hospital saying how much you owe.
