This number calls me 3-4 a day and I have not answered the calls. Although another bank is taking over the BP cards I am not sure this number is legitimate. I just got a text message from this number stating that they were in class. I'm not totally sure but I don't think you can send text messages from call center phones. Hopefully whatever school they are attending helps them get a real job and stop harassing people over the telephone.

Not a scam after all - BP credit card's new customer service #. We were reluctant to return the call because it did feel like a scam, but we received our 1st Synchrony bill today - with late fees & interest applied because the final autopay scheduled with Chase did not go through. The customer service # on the bill matched the # that has been calling us the last 3 days. Called to have the extra charges removed, and was told that they had been calling us to let us know it was overdue.

I received an automated call from this number stating it was about my BP credit card moving to Synchrony Bank, which did just happen for all BP cards, and to call the same # back. They also gave me a mailing address in Utah. I have not tried to call it back.

This is the customer service phone # on statement from BP Visa/Synchrony. Synchrony Bank bought BP credit accounts from Chase Bank. If you call their office, they will ask for the last 4 digits of you account #. Not your ssn. IF they call you, they have your credit card # but will ask for the last 4 digits of your ssn to verify they are speaking with the account holder. The # is legit.

OK, this number is from Synchrony Bank. They are taking over for Chase BP credit cards. Although I never answered this call, one time the automated voice left information on my voice mail saying this bank's name. I then checked my BP card status, and the site said as of May 14, Synchrony Bank was taking over the card service for BP cards.I had to go to https://bp.mycreditcard.mobi/mservicegen4/login and register with them. The calls stopped right after that and I had been getting them 5 times a day.I hope this helps.

We have been called from this number several times. My husband called it back and said it was about credit cards and they needs the last 4 numbers of his social Security no..I have ask him not to call these numbers back and he said well how are you going to find out who it is?Could you please explain why you should not return these calls?Thank you.

This is a SPAM call. They robo called me several times & gave a number to call back. Today robo called me & asked for my daughter who does not live here & is not on my acc. At the end of message it said to push star to speak to a representative, they then asked for my full CC # or my full social security number! I did not give it to them. They NEVER ask for a social. I believe they have somehow gotten into the BP data base & are somehow routing calls through this number. SPAM

I believe this was a legitimate call from my BP/Chase/Synchrony Credit Card customer service number advising us they did not receive a recent payment. It was probably due to some failure of the electronic funds transfer going to a new credit card provider.

Or not. As caller ID is easily faked you can never be sure of any call you did not make, and then only to numbers you verified as real and correct. NEVER call back number given to you in a voice mail, email, or text. Check them first.
