I looked up this number. It is a scam! 855-899-8232 Nationwide Recovery Service.I DO NOT OWE ANY DEBT!!I did not answer, the caller left a 36-second voicemail claiming to be 'Nationwide Recovery Service, a debt collection agency attempting to recover a debt and directing the recipient to call the above number. This is an attempt to collect a debt...this is not a sales or telemarketing call..etc.

called before 8:30AM. Did not leave a message. Annoying.

Since this is a debt collection call, reporting it to the DNC list does nothing as well since, as you very well know, debt collection calls are not covered by that registry.

Well, it makes as much sense to report them to the BBC as it does to report them to the BBB, which people here occasionally do. Heck, they might even get better results with the BBC. 😺

Calls all day and says I owe a debt but won't say from where nor will send a letter to confrim the company, debt amount, and account number. Its full of crap. I reported Nation Wide recovery to the BBC and the FCD.

(855) 899-8232 called my home phone on 2019/02/12 at 09:02, I did not answer, caller left a 1:15 minute voicemail claiming to be 'Nationwide Recovery Service, a debt collection agency attempting to recover a debt and directing recipient to call the above number. Caller has called sporadically over the past few years leaving the same voicemail.

'please continue to hold' then they hung up.

Called and asked to speak with my five year old child. She said, Oh I didn't know that. When I asked what she wanted and to identify who she was, she then tried to 'verify' my information before she could tell me who she was, the company she was calling from, and the nature of the call. I hung up. She did not call back.

You reported them to the British Broadcasting Company, the tv station from England? Why? Which FCD? The substance abuse clinic or the surfboard company?
