Called saying they needed to speak with me regarding my Merchant Account which I do not have. Made it sound as though it was urgent. When I googled the number it appears to be a company that handles credit card processing services or something...My business has never accepted credit cards.

Called claiming there was a problem with processing two payments on our merchant Account and needed immediate attention. We have never accepted cards in our business and when we attempted to call them back it went to another parties voice mail.

call came from Star -- wanted to have our credit card business and go directly with them for processing and eliminate the bank and 3rd party that makes the extra money for processing. Sounds to good.

Left a message that sounded legit about my 'account'. Since i was waiting to hear back on an order from a box store, i returned the call. 'Isabel' left a msg, but when i called back, i got 'Bianca's' phone line. Scammers impersonating hookers?

Said there was a problem with my merchant card account being processed by a third party....To bad my business does not accept cards of any kind. When told this the person 'Star' stumbled on her words slightly and said she would have to update their data base.
