Believe it or not, Connecticut has it's own department of Home Land Security. (More wasted money. State and Local Police aren't enough). It seems there are state employees being paid to set up robocalls to inform people that it is cold outside. (I have a TV, a radio, and most importantly, a WINDOW.) I haven't asked for this service, but it seems I have to wait for the next call and hit '0' during the message to opt out.

Really?The state of CT is dealing with power outages and serious property damage from a tropical storm and you call for money?

This number calls repeatedly 5-6 times in a row, sometimes multiple times a day regarding covid updates. I finally blocked them as this happened as I was driving and distracted me so much, I almost got into an accident. I also get text messages from them - this is overkill. I can turn on the news to get the information I need. No reason to call and text multiple times.

12:30am recording about a missing Asian man with dimensia. Made absolutely no sense, asked you to press 1 if you understood the call...stupid scam call...hope you rot in h**l for waking me up!

Seems Mayor O'Leary likes to use this for his own personal message system that has nothing to do with politics or emergencies.

Who the h**l calls at 12:39am! Not only was I called but received word that my parents were called as well. This is absolute bullshit. Try this again and lawyers will be involved.

Did not answer, it was 12:24 am . Very scary. What a ridiculous time to call anyone for anything. Now my households awaken this is really scary and crazy.

Called at 11:26 pm with a completely crappy message about how to call 911 in an emergency..... are you freaking kidding me!? I think this a ridiculous time to call and for a massively stupid reason too. What a waste of time and money. They WILL be blocked!

You have to be kidding me, looks like many Ct residences got the same call as me tonight.. Wtf at 11:30 and young family is sleeping.. beyond pissed off right now..

Seems like we are not the only ones that got awoken after 11pm by this spam call.......my heart pounds horribly when the phone rings at this late hour, especially dealing with an elderly parent......and we get up at 3am for our jobs, so really pissed off.......!

Called at 1239 IN THE FREAKING MORNING!!! SO PISSED! Farmington police left a prerecorded message about a missing person. They sent me an alert text about 45 minutes prior with the exactly the same word for word message. I opted out of the message alerts by sending stop to 89361. Hopefully this will stop any future calls from coming in after midnight. Ridiculous.

The Recorded call was about a missing person in Farmington. Request to call Farmington police if we have any info.This phone call at 12:18 am was totally inappropriate and disturbing. We were fast asleep. Scary that me of night to get a phone call!

June 30th at 12:45 am this is bullshit. I don't answer numbers that I do not know so I screened the call.but it was all muffled when I went to go listen to the transcript so I googled it and apparently I'm not the only one who gets late night/early morning calls..... Get a grip CT!!!!

Call came in just before 1am and woke the whole house up and my child! Not happy

If this isn't a scam call I couldn't tell. It is inexcusable to be called in the middle of the night that 911 sometimes doesn't work. I demand an explanation and an apology.

Recording from CT Dept of Emergency Management woke my family at 12:45 AM to tell us a man in Farmington CT (not my town) is missing and has dementia. Useless. Someone needs to be fired.

Why is this f*****g number calling my mother's house at 11:17 p.m. at night I tried calling it back and got no answer.this is f*****g unacceptable I know there are laws against calling it this time of night besides the fact that she's on a federal do not call list

Like all the other callers who responded. This call came in at 11:08PM on January 27th 2020. No message was left because the school age children and adults were sleeping. NO THANK YOU I know how to get all the EMERGENCY information I need. Please no more calls late night or otherwise.
