Speculating someone elses call 'might' be legitimate doesn't really help.Keep in mind, just because a number is legit, doesn't mean the caller is!Scammers spoof legitimate numbers to trick people into a false sense of security to answer their calls and attempt to get money or personal information from you.This is why no one will encourage others to report of legitimate numbers, as they only confuse people into believing it is a legit call when a scammer has called them and they come here to find out about the call.If it is a legitimate call, then anyone receiving a call would know WHY they got a call from this number, right?So what would be a reason to come and post about it to a site designed to share information about UNKNOWN callers, such as Telemarketers, Scammers and Debt Collectors?If your call was legit, telling about it won't be any comfort to those who may get a spoofed call from some scammer!

This is legit - it is CVS Specialty Pharmacy. They left me a message that they were calling to schedule my refill for my psoriasis drugs.

this was a legitimate call telling me that my copay card wasn't setup and they are holding my order and to call the drug co to get is setup...this was legit.. no private info was exchanged

This is a scam I've recorded several calls I'd answer they hang up they finally asked for me then wanted to give my address in order to tell me what my prescriptions was that my dr called in and who my dr was so I told them I feel as if they're scamming me and I'm not giving info bc I haven't been to a dr in a couple months therefore I don't get medication filled nor have I. In a very long time she said I can assure you . So give me your address I will provide you with the name of the medication again I argued with her that i don't get prescriptions and hung up on her. Besides my local pharmacy calls themselves or my dr would not a800 number

I believe this is CVS Specialty Pharmacy. They are verifying that they are talking to the right person. I thought it was a scam also due to what I had read here, but I started questioning them - they knew my Doctor and knew when the prescription was ordered. It is a real pharmacy, but the drugs are not the kind you get at the corner drug store.

Spoof call. Not the usual # for CVS Speciality Pharmacy. When CVS calls me their Name appears in my ID phone - then I answer.

This is a scam. I got a call from this number when a person, not an automated machine, specifically requested me by name. They said the line was being recorded for security purposes and they needed to verify my phone number, name, and date of birth. To prove this was a scam, I explained that they already had my phone number (they called me) and my name (they asked specifically for me). When I asked for the 'representative's' name again, the person hung up the line. I have received multiple missed calls from them since. A pharmacy should not disclose any information over the phone anyway. No real pharmacy does this. This is called phishing. Do yourselves a favor and do not answer any questions. These spammers are only trying to trick you into revealing sensitive and private information. Don't fall for it! If you think it might be a real call, end the call and call YOUR specific pharmacy.

CVS Specialty Pharmacy left message about scheduling med delivery. Although the phone number ID was not the usual one, the call back number is the legitimate one I use regularly when I need to contact them 1-800-360-0520.

It is a scam. I have no accounts or meds at CVS, yet they still called me and left a voicemail by name.
