This is Citibank calling about a Home Depot payment that is five days overdue. I forget to pay it on the 25th because I was sick with the flu. Pardon me for being human and getting sick.

It's your Home Depot Credit Card account. Pay your bill.......like I forgot to do last month.

How could they 'make' you pay anything? They could con you into it but they can't make you. And why a 'credit card in Texas'? Why not a credit card in Delaware? Or Alaska?

Ah, Hawaii. Haven't been there since the late '70s. The biggest phone problem back then was where to find a phone booth or an empty phone in the Hotel Lobby.

There scammers. Eventually if you’re unlucky you will get talking to one and they will make you pay off some credit card in Texas

They've called about every 2 hours all day. When I've answered I either get nobody no machine or a recording of a woman saying hello.

I am in the legal profession. This caller is absolutely a fraud scam. Everything appears legit but it is a purely scam. Received a message regarding my Home Depot account. I do not have a Home Depot account. (DO Not Call Back!). And if you do, ask the person on the other side if they want to go to Mc Donald’s with you for a date. And you will bring 3 guys with you — and you will see how these cons react.

My id says ciribank not citibank

I assumed this was a scam as well because i do not have a Home Depot Account... It is not a scam! It is actually Citi Collections calling about overdue accounts. I took A LOT of extra steps to confirm this including actually calling the number on the Home Depot website while on the phone with the caller. They were understanding and patient. We ended up determining that my phone number had been used on the over due account, but all other information belonged to someone else. The area code was entered wrong for the City/State the account was in. Do your due diligence before you assume its a scam!

Receiving calls from this number, everyday, all hours. Leaves no messages just calls on a continuous basis.

The most I ever did in the 70's was go to Florida and Disney World. It was a heck of a week though, I must say that!

Also trying to find out who owns this number, called twice today, about 2 hrs apart. Both times let them go to VM, they did not leave a message
