repeatedly calling, no messages, no one on line when answering phone

called twice today 15 minutes apart. both times left same message to call them. asked for charlie, no charlie here. said he inquired about their product. gave the # and an extention. to call backI errased the messages

Said they were calling me in regards to my request for a stairchair. I never called these people they even knew my first name !

I requested an online quote but seems they're never available to do that. They'll keep calling you ... 5-6 times a week, many times in the same day too but won't leave a message. I sure am glad I use Google Voice! I'd be on the phone listening to NOTHING a lot. I am disabled and called to tell them just exactly what I was looking for yet they kept saying they would have an expert call me back, what? can't transfer me to someone with the price chart? what kind of phone system do they have? just hand them the phone please or don't call me ... it is simple ...I'm exhausted now so the idea is too much to cope with. I'll stay downstairs.

Do all you people not know how to 'block' a person/company from contacting you? It's so simple!

Called Acorn to inquire if they rented stair lifts for 6 months - they don't. A few weeks later I got a call asking if there was anything they could do for me. I told the operator that they did not offer what I needed and thanked her for double checking. She did not push it but since that time I have had at least 6 phone calls from this #. Have disconnected on the second ring. Next time I will answer it and hopefully convince them to stop the calls.

I just spoke with 'Richard' who said he would take my phone number out of their system. From the tone of voice he had I take it I am not the first person to call and be upset about these robot phone calls.

My mother (disabled) contacted (Acorn Stair-lifts) about a possible purchase, they sent out a salesman to measure for an install, he left brochure and quote, he tried for a commitment down-payment, which I (son) refused. His office was in South Western Pennsylvania. He was professional and courteous, but seems our number is now in the Home office data-base in Orlando, Florida. This call is a follow-up survey, as we have not decided to buy from (Acorn Stair-lift). I hope they DO NOT persist. In their defense, we called them first, that is (our) fault, we opened this box of worms.

Keeps calling my cell phone, but doesn't leave a message. I didn't recognise the number so don't answer.

We called for information and the next day began receiving calls with no ID but the phone number. As we don't answer calls without full CID we let the calls go to VM. The first morning we received 5+ calls.I called them back and asked them to stop calling. The response 'we only called you once'. I asked them to stop calling. Next morning a repeat.Called them back and informed them that we were no longer interested. Hope they got the message as the next call I'm going to make an appointment for them to come out to discuss the matter. The result will be a hand delivered note to stop contacting us.

Call received for a Mark at my cell phone number from Acorn Stairlift. No one here by that name. Called them back at another number they left 1-844-221-1016 to stop calling me and removing my number from their database and that I've now blocked both numbers.

What is it with Acorn Stairlifts that they do not understand that we do not want to reschedule an appointment? Several calls from them since that cancellation and my telling them that we do not wish another appointment. Annoying to say the least.

These people call at least 2 or 3 times a day. I have an 86 year old mother. We had looked into a stair lift for her, as well. After their harassment, I am not interested in doing business with these people. They don't take 'no' for an answer very well.

I also requested a price quote from Acorn and then started receiveing calls from sales reps several times a week. Now I am receiving the same calls as the previous person from 866-782-4754 with no response on the other end. I have emailed them to demand that they stop the harrassment.

Acorn Stairlift - complete morons!! They have called my number looking for 'Willie' about 8 times & they have been told that they have the wrong number at least 4 times(They left voicemail the times I wasn't home). Going to report to the BBB now.

Contacted this company on line once and got literature. Received telephone calls about product and I said I was not ready to order. Recently started getting calls with telephone number showing on I.D. but no one answered. Past week received 5 to 6 calls per day. I finally remembered getting info from Acorn Stairlift and there it was on their literature! I called them and talked to a 'Jessie' and told them to stop the calls. She said she would take care of it. We'll see today.
