do not call this number. it does not match with the numbers in the back of your cc. they started asking for my address and the last 3 digits of my card, then refused to answer my questions until they got all the info on my cards to verify it was really me. DO NOT give them your cc #/expiration date/ last 3 digits of your number.

I received an e-mail saying Your have successfully sent $1500.00. My first clue was the grammar of 'Your have' Looked totally like a Chase e-mail. Ever have a double just click on the From: Chase.com to see the full e-mail address. Clearly not Chase.

I was on the Chase website and got kicked off and locked out of my account. When I called this # they asked for all kinds of information before I realized they were phishing. Total scam. Called Chase immidiatly to cancel card. THIS IS FRAUD~ DO NOT CALL!!

I received an email from chase quick pay team(chase.com email address) says my chase quickpay setting was changed, an email address or mobile phone number was deleted and ask me to call 877-242-7372 or log in to send a message. However, I never use chasequick pay, never set anything up there. I called Chase use their 800 customer service number, and was told that there's nothing wrong with my account, and I don't need do anything about it.

I too have received calls from 1-877-242-7372 which were part of Chase's automated account verification, in which I was accessing my credit card account but using a different computer than the one used to open the account. The calls were expected, indeed immediate upon my selecting the option I wanted to use for the verification procedure.

This is a legitimate Chase phone number for online banking support. I logged in to my Chase credit card account on a different computer and they sent me a code from this phone number to prove I was the person trying to access my account online. You can also find this number on Chase's contact page.

This is from Chase bank. It is a good number (not a sale call). We had a new computer, their computer don't recognize our new computer, they sent me a code via my registered phone.

When they asked for the 3 digit code on my card, I grew suspicious. When they asked for digits from my SSN, I discontinued the call. Unfortunately, they had managed to hack into my account and change the email address. I reset my password and email addy and called Chase. I had the account canceled and requested new cards.

This is a phone phishing fraud. It's someone pretending to be Chase, sending out bogus online account 'access codes' that the customer has not requested. The end of the message gives an 866 number to call 'if you have not requested this access code.' Then, when you call the 866 number, they immediately ask for all of your account information. I have gotten three of these calls in the past couple of weeks, and when I called the legitimate Chase customer service number and spoke to their security department, they had no record of any outgoing contact with me. Again, it's a phone fraud trying to get your account info.

DO NOT give these people any information about your bank #'s or credit card #'s, etc. This is a scam to get your information so they can rip you off. PLEASE, just hang up.

Received a email stating that Chase noticed an unauthorized access to my account from a blacklisted IP and wanting me to verify account information thru the email received. I noticed the address on the bottom of the email which was 8129 Santa Inez Way Buena Park, California 90620, when I looked up this address thru the internet it is a 3 BR 1.5 Bath home located in California.

Got exact same email with that phone number. Deleted it.

For me this was a valid return call from Chase. When paying their credit card bill online their system didn't recognize my computer and they sent me a code via my registered phone.

If you have an account from Chase bank and have your settings setup for alerts by phone, that's why this number is calling you. It's a recorded message of a change of your account (credit limits, etc.) Sometimes I hear nothing and then it calls back...

My online banking logged out and this number popped up to call to unlock it. It said 'Account locked to protect from unusual activity.'

They claimed my associated email and phone on my Chase account had been changed on my account and i needed to call to unlock my account. I logged on to my Chase account and nothing had changed so I knew it wasn't true and ignored the alerts & calls.

These people called at 6:30 AM, left a recorded message. TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING FOR THIS KIND OF BUSINESS.

Didn't get a phone call but a phone number showed up in the spam folder in a piece of email as 877-CHASEPC saying: 'A $2,963.49 external transfer to REMITLY INC on Nov 25 2020 at 3:20 AM ET exceeded your Alert setting.'It offered you to contact them at www.chase.com which was probably a bad link.And I don't even have anything to do with a Chase account.Spamming sure is bad.

Received a call on my cell phone with a message giving an 8 digit verification code. For what I do not know because I have NO affiliation with Chase/WaMu.

I looked this number up because I have been getting calls from 877 numbers lately and I ran across this one in my phone's history. Then I remembered what it was. When I registered for a login name at Chase.com (I have a car loan through Chase Auto Finance,) they call the number they have on record for you to give you a confirmation number.

Sent scam email and used this number as a false contact for Chaer

Claimed I asked for access code to my account. Called me 3 times at 12:30 am allegedly to try to give me the access code because I didn't answer. I called Chase. They never call to keep trying to give you an access code ... especially one you didn't request ... and never at that hour.

I did the exact same thing because of the questions and wanting me to download virus software, but I looked on chase.com website and sure enough 877-242-7372 is there! This is bothersome because I really felt like I was being asked way to much information and asked to download a virus software(not one they recommended, just any), but still..

I did not pick up the phone, although the caller ID associated with this call was 'Chase HM FNC' and I thought it might be Chase Bank, one of my credit card issuers. The caller left no message. I then called Chase, my credit card issuer,and was told that the call was not originated there. I have blocked the number.

I received three calls on this at 7:15 AM on a Saturdat(woke the kids up!) It was Chase with some code... HMMM.... saying my wife set up on-line access? Scammer trying identity fraud? Will verify with the wife soon she is out of town with a bunch of girl-friends. It all sounds fishy.

Yikes! If you people are getting calls with verification codes that you didn't ask for, someone is trying to get account information!
