It's a scam!!! We also received a letter indicating a data breach. Another way to scam innocent people. It's horrible what these companies are doing. Unfortunately there is always someone who buys into these letters and find that their bank accounts are gone.

Plenty of articles later yesterday and today as to this scam. Just search and you will find them. It's a scam to get your information for identity theft. They wish you do all online and not call that phone number.

I received one too, saying complimentary one-year membership. not sure either if its legit.

Not a phone call, but in a letter from Infinity Insurance company which is a scam! Do not call -

Letter received says 'Infinity's security team detected indications of a potential security incident on xxxx.'Read it fast, maybe it's convincing. Read it slowly, and you have 'detected -- indications -- potential' It really says nothing. Then logically: Your website got hacked, my private info looks to have been accessed because of YOU, and you're offering me a free year of protecting my private info? Lastly, an insurance company would not be in charge of cyber security, at least that's my thinking.

Same here. Called the number and tried t o give them the code/engagement number as it said in the letter and the woman said 'I don't know nothing about no engagement number......if you were referred to this number it was to get a free year of Experian Credit Monitoring. I don't know who your data breach was with, and I don't know nothing about no Infinity Insurance.'Played along a little bit more and she wanted a ll my personal info to include SSAN...DOB...address ad nauseum. Funny........ Experian already has that since they're one of the 3 credit reporting Bureaus....lol.Wonder where the scammers are located...Im guessing Jamaica....
