Called my cell....they said nothing

If I call them back it states the number has been disconnected.

Asked for me to say they want to help me with syudent debt, i dont have student debt. They say they will take you off the call list, but may take 30 days...this has been going on for a year, they just change the number.

Yes this is what I just went through. He asked for information. Then I asked him for information.i asked who are you affiliated with . He replied I wont know until I get information. I then said no if you can not provide me with any information .. Then I can not provide you with any.he hung up on me.

I received a simular call from kevn. I know that i owe a lot of people due to lack of employment so i dont mine collection agencies giving me a call. What i dont understand is how they treat you once they have you on the phone. I have had several agency call me and just so you know they must verify that that they are speaking to only you by verifying soc # dob or something and read the mini moranda before giving any info that is standard practice. So that's not a scam to verify that you are who you say you are. Just be honest and upfront and everything should go smoothly. You cant do anything with the last four of soc from my understament

Called multiple times but i never answered as i didn't recognize the number. They called again n i was expecting a call from my doctor so i answered and he ased for me i said this is her i asked what it was about he would only say an important business matter then transfered me to another guy he asked is i was me i said yes whats this regarding he said an important business matter. Then asked if i could verify information i asked again what the matter was he said he couldn't release it until i verify the information he said that he had all my info on file and said my address then asked if i would verify the zip code. Knowing hippa and dealing with verification myself i knew thats not what they would be asking so i said i cant give anything to u until i know what this is regarding he accused me of being rude and giving him attitude then said im sorry i guess i cant help you and hung up.Called mt father in law who is a police officer he verify it was a scam caller. I know they wouldn't ask for silly things like that they would ask for ur whole address or whole birthday not a part of it. Also have no business matters open maybe some dept collects but they dont ever verify anything lol

I answered the call & some foreign man said that they were calling regarding an important matter. Then he said he would transfer me to an agent that could help me. When he transferred me another gentleman answered, he sounded American. He said how may I help you. I said you tell me, you’re the one that called me. Then he continued by saying that they were calling regarding an important matter and just needed to verify some information to see that it was me. He then said my date of birth & just needed me to tell him the year. I told him I wasn’t giving him any information until he told me who he was calling with. He then said that he couldn’t give me that information until I verified with him who I was because he didn’t want to give the information out to the wrong person. I told him that it concerned me that he had my information. He continued to talk over me as I tried to talk. So I said “EXCUSE ME! Goodbye!” and hung up. Well this is concerning that they have any information on me at all. These scums of the earth need to get a moral life instead of trying to scam people for money & from people that already have no money themselves.

It is a scam since they’re asking for personal information but refuse to identify themselves.

Man identified himsef as Kevin crawford. Asked me for my full birth date. Stated that he had my social security number and wanted to help me with a business matter. Became angry when I refused to give any inofrmation.

This is a scam. Man asked to speak to Lee Ervin (I don't know this person). I have received multiple calls like this from different phone numbers over the past 5 years, they say they're a student loan company, but persist in calling even though I told them they have the wrong number.

An indian guy called and said it was an important matter and once my name was confirmed i was transfered to an american who asked why i was calling then began trying to verify my information by telling me my address and asking to verify zip code. He then stated my birthday and asked to confirm the year, when i refused and asked what company this was for they said they were entering me in the system as refusal/did not comply and hung up.

Said: 'I have a call for ...' (someone I don't know) and then he hung up right after I told him it was the wrong number and before I had a chance to tell him not to call again.

I never answer, but they keep calling my number, if it was a legitimate call they would leave a message, finally my husband just answered it and told them he was who they were looking for ( a Roger James and they told him that he owed a loan and that he needed to give them his credit card number to pay right then or he would be going to jail..... my husband said really so you’re going to come and arrest me and they said we have the police ready to arrest you if you don’t pay. My husband said come on and get me you scum bag scammers and the guy got mad and hung up.
