Seems to be associated with the name Dessy Aponte and a team of scammers that had my teen cleaning money

$2,497 was charged to my card on 10/06/2020 to someone I don't t know. I contacted cash app, but they don't seem to be able to reverse this payment. On my bank statement it shows my name then your phone number. Can you help me with this situation. I thought I was talking to a tech from Apple Support. Apparently not.

I have several charges to my bank account I will be notifying my bank of these fraudulent charges all it shows is 877-417-4551 CA I use cash app to receive money for my tamale business that I do seasonal or on occasions but I never thought I would be scammed so horribly large amounts too.

This was not a call. A FRAUDULENT charged to my credit card account occurred on 10/11/2020. This is the phone number 877-417-4551 that is listed in my account transaction. I'm reporting this problem to my bank. This scammer company needs to be held accountable and prosecuted for their theft.

This was not a pone call.It was someone trying to hack my debit card.They deposited 3 different amounts & tried to withdraw those same amounts.Luckily my bank flagged all of them & rejected them. I didn't lose any $$$.My bank sent me text messages on all these transactions asking if i made them.I had my bank close out my debit card and send me a new one.The Deposits came from Reversalrcash App.The Withdraws came from Cash App.Stay safe out there.

This person by the name of Lil Static, a Rapper who moved to LA not too long ago had posted a screen shot of an account on Instagram he was selling for a decent price. Insisted on using Cashapp because paypal had banned him and he gave me a fake email and password once he took $60 from my Cashapp and blocked me shortly there after.

Cashapp charge on credit card. Credit card was blocked and replaced and somehow they did it again on the new credit card even though the info wasn't in the Cash App app, I have no idea how they were able to. But it has happened twice now and Cashapp has no way to protect or refund their customers. This is frustrating.

I talked to a person that I thought was from Apple Support but apparently wasn't. I called Cash App but they are unable to investigate at this time. So I thought since my bank statement shows my name followed by your phone number you might be able to help me with this fraudulent payment. The amount was $2,497.

The number is associated with a Cash App account, which I do not have. They stole money from my Venmo account and Venmo said the Cash app account was in my name even though I don't have one! First they attempted to make purchases with my Venmo information and then when those were declined they took multiple small amounts and transferred them to THEIR cash app account. I see from the comments that this person/people have been doing this for a long time. Why is nothing being done?!

I have had several UNAUTHORZED hits to my cash app through my bank account. These were peoples names not the name of businesses and I do not purchase from just anyone. From what I have read this seems to happen alot to alot of people. How does Square purpose to resolve this? I do enjoy having my card but this is uncalled for that there is not better security.

This number charged me $53.23 on my credit card and I don't know why or how it got my card number.

This was not a phone call. Someone used my Card and made 6 transactions totaling $95. Two of then actually had names w/them. I contacted my bank and was told my card had been compromised, even though no one but I had the card. Needless to say, all it takes is for someone to access the number, etc to mess up a person's account. So be careful!

Person hacked my friends Snapchat asking for money to help with a tire. Me thinking it was my friend I sent the money for her to get it fixed.i messaged my friend and asked her to send it back when she got home and she informed me her snap chats was hacked by this person and she did not request the money.

I don't answer toll free numbers so I don't know how they got my info to drain my account. Luckily, my bank knows that I never use Cash App or square so they created a fraud alert and are launching an investigation.

This number is on my mother's bank statement with several different names, Oakley Rei, Chundra, Gabrielle, Rebecca Wi, Kevin Xvai, Over $700.00 has been fraudulently deducted from her account. Be careful if you have cash app.

They took $303 from my cash app under the name of Apple. I am fed up, and because they took it out of my cash app under my name, and the statement says it's in California and I am in Tennessee, I most likely won't get my money back through the bank! They are getting to smart and even more cruel, I did not have the money for them to take a total of $403 from me in different ways.

similar story as many above. saw mysterious charge on my credit card, freaked out - it was a BIG charge to someone I didn't know. search for name and phone# turned up nothing but this site. realized it was a purchase I made at a silent auction. they used iPads to check people out with this software. legit charge.

They took $1000 from my checking account using my debit card information and $100 from my husband's account. This number is shown on our bank statements for those transactions.

This was not a call. This number was on my daughters checking account. she had money taken from her account where purchases had not been made Fraudulent!

Something called CashApp showed up on my account as card charges. They made 4 attempts, 3 are currently in pending status and the other was declined twice. Called my band and filed a claim. Don't know who CashApp is or how they got my card information.

Not a call. It was a transaction that I blocked from happening.

They made a cash app transfer of $344 then reversed it (phishing) I caught it immediately and closed the card # they used. Why is nobody catching this person?

This seems to be a taxi ride I took from known as Air Express Cab. They are a great company.

Same situation here - I was perusing my Visa statement, and thought that this was a scam of some sort as the name of the company that showed up didn't return any results. I kept thinking about it though, and the 'company' was actually an art vendor at a local farmer's market where I bought my wife a necklace. The vendor had a small attachment on her iPhone to swipe credit cards, so it turns out my charge was totally legit - though odd looking on my statement.

I also didn't recognize the number but it was for an art show purchase----the vendor was using SquareUp. The charge was completely legitimate.

I was taking from this company myself 100.00 dollars and 45.00 dollars on the same day I really don't no how this scam company got a whole of my information so now I'm getting this situation fix.

I was just bugging my bank about a small transaction from a merchant with this number, and I just remembered that it is actually legitimate. It was from a mobile credit payment system when I got a BBQ sandwich at a music festival. Just some mom and pop BBQ stand under a tent, and they must have been using 'SquareUp' for their payments. It looked like a giant walkie-talkie that could swipe credit cards.

Was checking my bank checking acct. when I noticed multiple cash withdrawals associated with this number. Jesus Neva was one of the names associated with half of the transactions. The rest were using a family relative member's name. Still doing the research on this and filing reports with local police and DEA.

Same thing happened to me. My wife thought I was downloading porn or something. Turns out it was a comic book convention we went to in Albuquerque. I remembered the charge as soon as I saw the name of the company in this post. I'm a nerd so I googled this as soon as I got the emailed receipt from the show. Very cool little gadget. Cost per swipe seems a little high though at 2.75% per swipe.

I filed a claim and my bank account is under investigation to reverse what ever they stole. They made 9 transactions within 2 minutes and the bank blocked my debit card after the 3rd transactions. They got 900$ but the bank will dispute them.Cashapp is not safe . Sick ppl can use it to steal your money and transfer from your bank without any permission

I dont even have cash app they stole a totally $155.22 from me when I ask my bank for numbers this is the number that was associated with the charge. I am about to file a police report. This number charged my credit card $33 and I didn't recognize it at first. It is for a credit card processor that goes by the brand name Square Up. Merchants can run credit card transactions through their iPhone or iPads using the Square Up services. Mine was for a taxi ride.

At first I was concerned about this charge but after reading posts from several people, I remembered buying food from a vendor at the Patriot Ride on 6-18-11 - it was a National Guard member that was using their iphone to accept check/debit cards so people who did not have cash could purchase food. It was definitely a legitimate charge and there were no additional fees.

I didn't recognize this name for the charge on my credit card as IMARKETING. out of CA. I was looking at the date and then realized that I was in Gatlinburg, TN on vacation at the time of the charge. So I am racking my brain trying to figure out what this company is. And I thinking, what did I charge for $120.00. Then it dawned on me that it was for the mountain ZIPLINE ride at $60.00 a pop for my two kids. (They said it was great, by the way.) It is supposedly the longest in the world. Took 2 hours. But, nowhere did I see this name IMARKETING. The man that charged my card used his radio/phone and attached a piece to it to where he can slide a charge card, so I never saw this other name. But, this company has outlets all over the resort areas. So, my mind is at ease now. Unless I see more charges later b/c I have been home from vacation for 2 weeks. :-)

I found this thread because I was trying to figure out where a mysterious purchase on my debit card came from, but it was from a legitimate place... I bought a sandwich from a food cart. The guy had one of those plug-ins for the iPhone that he swiped the card through and processed it that way. It seemed to take longer than my debit card transactions usually do to post, so I had totally forgotten about it.

For mine it was a legitimate charge from a taxi company whos driver used the iphone to charge me.Cheers
