Scam. Literally purchased my car new in June, she’s under factory warranty for 100k miles.. No dealership or company is going to tell you the warranty is expiring this way. It’s so unofficial looking it blows my mind people fall for these scams! No return address, etc.

Recieved a scam notice in the mail

Received bright orange postcard sized letter. No information on company name provided. Front of card reads:'Vehicle Alert Notice ** Please Respond Within 5 Business Days **'Owner ID #: (2 letters 8 numbers)Vehicle Owner: (Your name)Vehicle: (Year and Make of car)Deadline: (Some date ~2 weeks out from receipt of mail)Back of the card has a paragraph on how the factory warranty on my car is close to expiring.The unnerving part is they have the correct YEAR and MAKE of my car on the front. Like, if I receive a random phone call from a salesman...who cares. They bought my phone number from any of hundreds of places. But how does a scam company get the correct Year and Make of my car? That information is only at the state DMV and the dealership I purchased the car at. How did that information get out?

I didn't get a phone call, but did receive a notice in the mail.

I paid $108 it's been 30 days and no policy has came in the mail.

I literally just received the exact same thing. I freaked out too because it has the exact make & model of my car….. I just bought exactly a month ago, today. So so odd!!
