That's a legit President Choice call back #, they called me about a suspicious transaction. The agent told me that their systems are a bit more system to online purchases since it's the Christmas Season.

I don't have a PC MasterCard or any MasterCard but I still got a call asking for my account and it sounded dodgy (I didn't think there even was a PC Financial any more?).I know people have called the number and it goes to their fraud office and they swear it's legit, but how can we be sure these incoming calls aren't just spoofed?

Called the main customer service number on the website (have patience - you have to go through a few layers of menu) and she verified that the number was from the fraud department with an alert.

I just got a call from this number at my work. She advised early this morning, there was a transaction made for a BMX bike from North Vancouver. She verified my card number and advised they are closing my account, and a new card will be sent to my address. I am pleased that PC Financial is watching my back.

I reported a fraud and they replied me this:Hello, *Action Required* Thank you for your inquiry. This message is to inform you that your request has been successfully received. In review of the account, contact our Security Department at 1-877-939-3933 at your earliest convenience. Hours of Operation 8 a.m to 11p.m EST. As always, thank you for being a President's Choice Financial customer. Yours truly, President's Choice Financial Customer Service.

Fake number. Called PC Optimum head office and they have flagged that number. Please do NOT call that number and give any information. 07/06/2020

Called about problem with Mastercard. Not certain if it is real or not yet.

It's a valid phone number and it is automated. I called the number on the back of my credit card - they transferred me to a person who knew what the call was about (a questionable transactionI) - they said it was flagged but they verified that it was legitimate purchase. She told me that in order to stop more calls to pick up the phone and stay for a few seconds and then hang up.

Apparently it's a legit number. We called back and everything checked out

This number is legit. Got a voicemail today to call this number or the number on the back of my card. Called my card number, gave them only my name and the answer to a couple of security questions and then THEY told me my credit card number. They confirmed this was their security dept phone number and they transferred me to the dept. There was a suspicious transaction and they are sending me a new card as a precaution.
