enough, keep getting letters from american express I disputed years ago like 7 years now sending letter to see if wanting to settletoday was the first call in years. Letters read we can't sue you for money owed and will not go for or against you if you settle at a lesser amount. so what idiot do you think would settle plus it was originally disputed! They just want money in had and will not change nothing on your side, it will drop off soon

This number calls me way too much since June 2021. They call multiple times a day everyday. So I blocked them.

called wanting me to identify myself but would not say who they were.when i returned call to that number said it was AMERICAN EXPRESS and they may be recording. i have no dealing with American Express?

This is legitimately AMEX COLLECTIONS. It is definitely them. NOT A SCAM. I confirmed it directly with Amex. They farm out their collections to collection agencies in India, but it is still through Amex. Right now I have a serious illness and cannot be bothered with this nonsense. BLOCKED.

Claims that they are with American Express and wanted my DOB and last four digits of social, I didn't give them any of my information and told them they were scammers and I called American Express and reported them.

Someone in India with a US VOIP phone number calling and claiming they work for American Express and need my personal ID information such as date of birth and last 4 of my SSN. Rather amateurish, but sadly some people might fall for it.

NEWS FLASH PEOPLE: Legitimate (and sometimes not so great) but real collections agencies DO call people and ask you to verify last 4 of your social and DOB. Yes, collection agencies DO this.That doesn't mean you should give it to them, I'm just saying it's NOT a scam. It's a colection agency.

Received numerous calls to my mobile. Didn't answer. No messages were left. Answered most recent call. Male, very heavy accent, stating call being recorded, asking for person with very difficult name to pronounce. Told them wrong number. The person said my number will be removed from their list. May take a few days. Caller didn't identify themself. Caller ID said 'Account Services.' Suspicious call. I blocked this number.
