getting Paper Mail from this number about my vehicle service contract on a vehicle I haven't had for 3 years. checked the number On My White Pages Site and it says it's a high risk for Scam.

We received a postcard ad with this number to call US Automotive Protection Services, LLC on the 9th of Jan, 2021. Upon our research, we discovered a lot of deceptive practices by this company with absolutely no replies to requests by the Better Business Bureau. Company mainly refuses to cancel contracts. Labeled as a telemarketer given there is history (albeit extremely negative) with the BBB.Weigh the contract vs vehicle value before you part your money on something like this.

I have received 2 postcards and 1 letter in my mail to 'extend' my car warranty, but jokes on them. I'm broke with not even 5 dollars to spare.

I received this motor vehicle service notification with 'immediate response requested' and this phone #. The strange thing is it's addressed to my husband,but the car they're referring to has the title in my name....

Similar to 'Jesse', I received a postcard in the mail from 'US Automotive Protection Services' indicating I needed to contact them immediately regarding my car protection (the year and make of my car is on it). It says 'MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICE NOTIFICATION' . Looked up toll free number on this site and found I need to throw away notice, scam.

I received a yellow postcard from US Automotive Protection Services, so I called them and a pushy salesperson answered. I hung up after she finished her pre read script saying “we simply can’t leave your file open so you can’t call back later”.

received yellow post card and two messages that went to an automated dialing system. No Name-co call back number. Just 'Warranty Dept'. Glad to see a thread documenting these folks. Definitely SCAM!

So, I got a postcard in regards to my car I bought more than a month ago. Now, I remember signing on a major warranty that covers the car. But, it was obviously a huge issue. First off, the card seem legitimate. Second, it actually had my mother’s name and my car even though the car is under my name, not my mom’s. I gave this a shot to call. They literally said my warranty “expired.” They asked me a $100 deposit and told them to give me some time to think. Afterwards, had second thoughts about it and not continue with this. I’m just glad I made the right decision. I’m surprised that the scammers literally took the time to have it printed and mailed.

Thank you for those who took the time to report. Being new to the US and recently purchasing a second-hand car I would have fell for this had I not checked the number and seen this thread. Scary they had my car info and address!

US Automotive Protection Services, Extend factory warranties on cars (electric parts), Called to stop their notification being sent to me. Still tired to sell there plan too me. Did finally get their mailings stopped also phone calls.

Well-known scammers: Criminals selling fake auto-warranty services. They send intimidating postcards to look legitimate. Never pay anything on claims.

States my warranty will expire. Gave senior discounts asking for 25.00 down 75.00 in the next couple of weeks. Wanted to know what card I would be using neither told him I would call back after talking to my husband needed to know now. Told him I decided not to take it.

Called and wanted me to pay money for something I don't need, rude. Paper sent in the mail itself looked Phishy too with scare tactics.

Warranty scam. Was sent a postcard with number to call. When I did - I first thought they were legitimate and gave them my VIN but then they wanted the last 13 numbers of my credit card. Then I realized it was a scam. Do I need to report to anyone that I gave them my VIN?

Received a postcard in the mail from 'US Automotive Protection Services' stating that their 'records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle protection activated'.Jokes on them, I literally just moved to TX and had to go through the state inspection, insurance, registration and new DL process.Scam notification.
