11/20/20 12:25 pm Rings but hangs up when answering machine starts. Says NCPT which has a variety of bizarre meanings none of which have any connection to me. Another site said other people have been getting these calls today with similar results.

ROBOCALL SCAMFAKE CHARITY calling under the guise of soliciting donations for police officers. (NCPT = 'National Coalition for Police and Troopers').A little research reveals that this is not a legitimate charity - the organization behind these calls is actually a conservative/republican superPAC called 'Law Enforcement for a Safer America PAC' (Political Action Committee). SOME of the money scammed in 2020 went to the Trump campaign ($467K according to federal filings), but the lion's share (over $6MM) is kept by these scammers to line their pockets.

Get all call from this nube every morning. I refuse to answer. Never leaves a mesage.
