Yes it's the Metrocard section of the MTA. I lost my Easy Pay card on the bus the other day and someone found it and turned it in (how lucky for me!).Totally legit.

Received a call on my cell, when I phoned back the switchboard identified themselves as 'Xerox' but when I was switched to 'Customer Service' they claimed to be 'E-Zpass' and said they were calling because I had requested that my account be cancelled--questionable because I had NOT done so AND because only my land line number is listed with the REAL E-Z Pass. I phoned the actual EZ-Pass number and confirmed that my account was, in fact, in good standing. This number is obviously being used for some type of scam,

They called me and left a message and i said I don't have an ezpass and they said that's the number I put down. Never owned an ezpass

This number is legitimate. It's the office that processes the 'Easy Pay' Metrocards for the NYC MTA (subway and bus authority). These are the bus/subway payment cards that automatically recharge (by billing your credit card) when you run out of money. They don't call to sell you anything, they call if there's a problem with your account (like your credit card is expired).

This is a number for NJ Ezpass, when i call back from a different phone, They said no one from Ezpass call me and my account have been closed a few years back.

xerox is Ezpass contractor

This number is being used LEGITIMATELY by EZPASS. I submitted a fax to request a business address change and the agent was calling to confirm mailing address and physical address.

No I work for Ezpass for years that this is our number we are located at 375 McCarter highway in Newark NJ and that is the office number. Ezpass is run my xerox because we are the subcontractors hired by New Jersey Department for Transportation
