the automated voice says that my internet account had been compromised and would be cut off in 24 hours , they want you to press 1 to sort it. Don’t - just hang up !

phoned my house number told me about my internet having problems I had to press 1.......don't just hang up its a scam they cant work for there own money so they try to get yours HANG UP

Recorded msg re internet being cut off. Scam.

This sounded like a recorded message and said they were my internet provider and had been trying to get in touch with me as my account had been compromised, so would I press 3 to connect me to have someone help otherwise my internet will be disconnected in 24 hours. This was a female voice with an American sounding accent. They made no mention of which internet provider they may be. I immediately ended the call. I believe this to be a scam.

Had a call at 6:53am, answered this as thought it was from my brother who has just had kidney transplant which really panicked me. Was told internet was compromised and would be switched off in 24 hours and to press 1. Not thinking, I did and then it went quiet so hung up.

definite scam call said my computer comprised press one to connect to an adviser ! just hang up
