I didn't answer as not known to me also i live in spain so suspicious

Asking details on creditcard, did not give it out

Received a call from this no. Felt very uncomfortable answering his questions to confirm whom I was. He gave me some information like day of birth and asked me for the rest, etc. He wouldn't explain why he was ringing until I had given him details I do not give out to random callers. Told him to email or to write to me. As far as I am aware banks NEVER cold call their customers.

This is a legitimate HSBC Fraud department.

Its the hsbc fraud dept. normally thei rnumber is 01226863400, but as you are abroad the number comes with the uk prefix: +441226863400its a legitimate call.

I was called by this number today. They left a message urging me to call an 0845 number with an alternative for reverse charges from abroad. Said it was called HSBC Fraud dept. I called HSBC directly on their normal contact number, and it was all confirmed. My card was being used fraudulently. They do not ask for passwords, pins or other sensitive info.

This number called on a Sunday afternoon 3 times. A foreign person was calling, so hang up.
