Said they were from currys had to contact my bank

They called from this number claiming to be from Currys / PC World. Trying to sell me an extended warranty for a fridge freezer I did purchase from Currys / PC World a year ago. I asked the question several times are you calling from Curries / PC World and the woman kept avoiding the question each time - yes we work WITH Currys / PC World etcIt was clear they are not actually Currys / PC World so they are lying / clever with the truth when calling.I ended the call, I would suggest others do too.

I believe this number is for a company called Domestic & General who are a big warranty provider who work with a lot of big electrical suppliers and manufacturers, I received a call after buying a Panasonic TV and ticking a box on the Panasonic website saying I would be interested in extending the warranty.

Just phoned ask if it was my name then hung up..northern accent

Pretending to be from currys pc world. scam do not answer just block number.

Recorded message supposed to be from Curry's PC World about warranty on appliance. Blocked number.

The number 01513030035 has phoned me the last 2 days at around the same time (c.6pm).I have not answered and do not recognise the number and have no idea about the caller.I can block the number and will do so.But it is annoying and disturbing as to how they got my number.

Received a phonecall today claiming to be from PC World about the purchase of a Beko fridge freezer that I ordered from them about a year ago. They were offering warranty for £3.66 per month or the first 10 months. I did purchase the item from them around that time so may be legit but I'm not willing to take the chance.
