They ask if that( name) then said its a really bad line if you cant hear me l'll call back later I said I can hear they hung up

Human caller, Unwanted. Claimed to have “assisted you with a XYZ policy some years ago”. But couldn’t get our surname right! I normally avoid all 0161 numbers these days because they all seem to be unwanted but was handed this call without checking. I realise that there are legitimate callers from the Manchester area but none of these have called me in the last few years. Thanked the caller and rang off. They didn’t ring back!

Persistent calling

Call related to compensation claims. Searched number and relates to a company Endowment Surrender Plus. Looks like scammers.

This number constantly rings me, Often 2 or 3 times a day, Goes to answerphone, But never leaves a message.
