Constantly calling no message left

Called me today (03/08/2019) said his name Harry and he was calling from Wirral County Council doing a survey on shopping! - This is a scam. I would suggest that you simply hang up and block and report the number

Rang me saying they are part of Middlesbrough council I said I was busy so she's ringing me back??

Said he was doing market research for Bristol Council

Didn’t answer when I picked the phone up, told it was a scam, looking at other peoples responses

947 is a scam call starting for a survey politely informed them to go away Hung up blocked number

A caller from this number claimed to be doing research for shopping in the Goole area. I explained that my number was unlisted and she claimed that it had been randomly generated and offered to 'take my number off the list'. So, that would be a randomly generated list???

phoned me this evening and said doing a market survey. I put the phone down when he started asking personal questions. Thought he was collecting my personal data to sell on.

Someone claiming to be from Market Research asking if I had time to answer a few questions about shopping habits in the Dalkeith area. I neither live nor shop in Dalkeith and declined his request. He was very polite, but I would have expected a researcher to find out who and where he was phoning. I didn't enlighten him and added his number to my block list.

They phoned today at 19:00hrs and said that they were doing a survey on behalf of the local council. I'm not in the phone book, so this was totally random, I politely hung up!

Said thy were from north Yorkshire county council and wanted to do a survey. I said I do not over the phone. She said thank you and hung up I blocked the number.

They called me, then they hung up when I answered it !

This number just rang. It was a guy from Middlesbrough Council with a 4 minute questionnaire about my shopping habits (which shops I do my main grocery shopping, DIY, gardening, electricals, etc and which local shops for day-to-day shopping). I only had to confirm my post code at the beginning and at the end of the survey, my age (but you don't have to give it). Nothing worrying about the questions at all, very simple and straight forward. No other personal information was asked for at all.

Said they were doing a smoking survey on behalf of The Councils in your area when pressed could not give which, if any, council they were directly surveying for. When TPS mentioned said it does not count for marketing surveys and number randomly generated. However, he agreed to take my name off the list.

Had it confirmed by local council ( cannock) that the company has been asked to do a survey for them , not sure what database they are using

keeps none stop phoning me every day i have told them to **** off and block there number but thay phone me on a diffrent number..when I answer thay just put the phone down on me. 01656477042

Seems as if it’s a call centre doing multiple calls for different companies
