Called saying they were EE, Said they could provide me offers to add to my account e. G. Apple watch. They asked if I had any phones linked to my account and broadband, Said to them 'if you were EE you would know that wouldn't you?'. The bloke then got an attitude. I believe this is a scam.
I had a 5 minute convo where he said 'i won a amazing prize with ee' and when i said what is it he couldn't tell me until i used the website he gave me. And that resulted in me getting hacked DON'T DO WHAT THEY SAY its a scam
Called said they were from EE- asked for my middle initial, Checked my account and my middle name initial is not on my account. Sent a text from EE saying 'hi' to prove was them but still refused to give me any additional details. Tried to offer me extras on my account that I already have
After reading through other people's feedback I'm inclined to think it is EE - when I called the number back it said the number was out of service, The recording was a female with an American accent oddly!
Telemarketing- trying sell me things based on my account! The number is EE, They asked for my name and address... Constantly ringing everyday! Couldn‚Äôt get a word in but managed to say I‚Äôm not interested but kept going, So ended up hanging up.
Time wasted with them trying to access account information for my EE accounts, EE claim it is a number of theirs but can be hijacked. Asked them for the first two characters of my password to provide identity and they fumbled it
