Incoherent message left from this number. Not going to call them back, they sound dodgy.

Said they were calling from Barclays, wanted my security details to be passed to the unknown to me caller for data protection reasons, utter tools that have no grasp of how data protection works... They seem like a phishing scam when they call, so be cautious because they are dangerous criminals hell bent on stealing your hard earned money in a fraudulent way or maybe they are not from the bank after all and are different criminals...

Just been called by this number not sure if it’s a scam.

Today 11/06/2020 at 11.59am a foreign speaking lady rang said was from Barclays the Drapery Northampton asked if I was and said my name then asked if she could speak to said his name being my husband she asked if it was inconvenient and I advised it was not. I ended call by hanging up. Checked number on a scam checker advised a very dangerous number.

Tried to get my bank details but as I accidently gave a fake name out they hung up and said to log in my account online for something.

Second day I have had a call from this number mark it as DANGEROUS. Mumbled voice in foreign accent asked for a named male person. I am only the second owner of this property from new and no one of the name she said has ever lived here

just been phoned from this number saying they were from Barclaycard Commercial it is 8pm????

Call from this number purporting to be Barclays.Asked me to ring another number to sort out my accountI found it strange as i don't have a Barclays Bank Account.

Total scam do not give out any information. i have reported the number to barclays

She said she was from Barclays I didn't give any info over the phone thank goodness

Spoke to them on this number today, line was clear and was someone from my village branch who I had actually spoken to whilst in there. Wasn't a marketing call or anything untoward

I received a call from this number earlier. The call started as “this is is being recorded for safety and training purposes”. The conversation was very echoing which threw me off. They knew where my local branch was, Then asked me to go on the Barclays app and confirm some info which apparently they sent (I did not by the way). Told them nothing had come through then they rushed off the phone. Scam!!!!

This number belongs to Barclays. You can easily check that if you have any doubts because they must be able to provide you with details and thus assure you that their call is genuine. But beware, fraudsters can 'spoof' phone numbers, this means they can make it look like they're calling you from one of Barclays numbers.

Starts with auto recording that the call might be recorded. Then a woman says she is from my local Barclays account and wants to speak to me about an offer that can benefit me as I'm registered as one of their local customers. I don't have a Barclays account. She won't say exactly what the call is regarding until she takes me through security, Which requires my date of birth. I say I'm not comfortable disclosing that info and she says I'm right to be cautious as there are many scams going around

You can go on Barclays official web site phone number checker. And it says it is their phone number. I have had bad experience with echo too. However it is safe to use if only would be possible understand what are they saying.

The number is from Barclays I called them back on their actual number and I had open ongoing case.. So is safe just only make sure Barclays can send you verification code sms or on the app

Says they are from Barclays... Asks for personal information. Tries to reassure by saying we're not scammers. If we were we would ask for you account number etc.. Strange

I received a text message saying they were trying to contact me regarding my Barclays account and that they would call back in an hour. When the call came through, My phone highlighted it as 'potential fraud', And so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message either.

They said they were from Barclays, But I stopped the call in the middle of the conversation. It seemed dodgy.

Received a strange call this morning from a man with African accent who claimed to be from Barclays and apparently we had had a meeting in November at my local branch..... Not true.. Straightaway asked to confirm my date of birth, Which I said “no thank you” and ended the call.

Scam! Pretend be Barclays! Want to know all information about my account and card. But fortunately I don't have Barclays card üòÇüòÇüòÇ

26/10/2020 This phone number is still being used by this scam. Recent transaction, Ring back on the phone number on the back of you card scam.

SCAM - PRETENDING TO BE BARCLAYS. Called Barclays and they confirmed no call was made to me. They had my full name and then asked for my address details which I didn't give.

Actually not a scam but from the Barclays Corporate Team Commercial or Charities Accounts - but I expect none of you will believe me.

Call started with a recorded message saying it may be recorded for training purposes and then a woman asked to speak to me (had my full name), I said 'yes' and the line went dead. It didn't feel right.

100% scam. Said from Barclays but sounded dodgy from first word spoke so I asked questions. Q: What office do you work in? A: I am working from home. Q: What office do you normal work in? A: Manchester Q: So why are you calling from a London number? Phone went dead. They had my full name and knew I had an account with Barclays. Now trying me daily
