Thought I would check the number and address before calling the number due to the vague and therefore very suspicious nature of the card and it turns out that it is a good job I did as it is clearly some sneaky underhand deceptive trick designed to create maximum anxiety!!! Nice try but better luck next time. I will NOT be calling this number back.

Received a card with address only and no name, claiming to be Card Delivered: BY HANDIn fact, it was delivered by Royal Mail as usual.The card also said, Contact us ASAP A phone number was given.I was curious but did not call back.Could be a scammer phishing for information.

Received a card delivered by Royal Mail telling me to call this number urgently ASAP. No information who sent the card. Return address given as Darlington DL98 1AT. Post Code check reveals that it is return address for TV Licensing. More underhand behaviour by Capita.

TV licence scam/threat.They justify their threatening behaviour by an assumption that if you have an address then you must have a TV. What planet are these people on and why does our government allow them to do this?!TV is doomed anyway - the sooner it fails the better.

if you tear this leaflet at the corner - its actually got all the tv licence stuff inside! its glued together to make it look like its just a card ( perhaps) legally they have to have the information on there, but its not there fault if its hidden! b******!

I received this in Central London WC1 Post code. Considering corona virus is now pandemic should these non emergency mails be sent? Don't reply as it is clearly an attempt to engage you in a conversation that will not benefit you.

Prise opened the card and loony losers from TV Licensing.....If we don't hear from you by 18 March 2020 we will escalate our investigation ..Good luck with that!

I smelt a rat straight away. Dirty Capita (TV license) scammers! Tell everyone you know - don't phone this number. And remember people, Capita's operatives have no more powers than your milkman. So if they ever do turn up just tell them to FO or you will set the dogs on them!They can't dob you unless you engage with them - so don't.

I got a card through my door saying I wasn't in and to call this number. It does not have my name on it so I'm instantly wary. It says 'urgent response' well I'm afraid they will be getting no response. It doesn't say either whose number or company it is. Thrown in the bin.

Received what looked like a card from the Royal Mail, Pre-printed, Hand-delivered, With heading 'Not In?' - except I was in and they did not attempt to ring the bell, Or knock on door. Just posted this through the letterbox. Looked up number and it seems to have been reported as a scam.

Anyone that receives a card like mentioned above, Does not have a tv license. This is a card from the BBC tricking you to believe it is from Royal Mail. When you ring the number and confirm your name, They then have your name to on file and you will then start to receive mail in your name to your address.

Seems like it is TV licence from what people are saying... I am tempted to call just for fun. But this should be illegal IMHO

Found this in the post this morning, Still bleary eyed and half asleep thought i'd missed a parcel, As it is made up to look like the notification. Realised it wasn't, Devious scum.
