I’ve got a letter saying I owe over £700 to Bt. I closed my account over 10 years ago and have no correspondence until now. This is a total scam by low life’s.

said i owed £92.04 for moble EE ,and they have took over the debt i have never had any other moble account except 02 who i have been with from the first time i had a moble

Received 2 letters to say accounts with Vanquis Bank and 3 mobile have been transferred to Lovell for payment. DON'T OWE MONEY TO EITHER. IT'S A SCAM!!!!

Received a letter from supposedly EE who I've not been with for well over 4 years or more! Letter states I owe £28.28 which I do not owe! It says EE limited have assigned the balance to Lowell portfolio l ltd to be settled! Total scam beware!

Just received a letter from Lowell stating that I owe £32 which is incorrect I haven’t been with EE since 2019 look at the details very carefully the address may be the same but the number they say to call them on is a little from the actual company they’re pretending to be this is obviously a scam.

Just received a letter to my home address allegedly from Lowell stating that I owe £38.41 to EE and that they had taken over the debt. Called EE and nothing outstanding. Definitely a scam.

Had a letter today from Lowell stating talk talk have sold my account for £50

Have received a letter today from Lowell portfolio 1 Ltd stating I owe £350.97 to EE , and that lowell financial Ltd as their agent are appointed to recover that amount..I have never had an account with EE in fact I have never had an account of any kind with this company . If you or a relative receive mail of this kind IT'S A SCAM

I have just received a letter by post from Lowell telling that my mobile account has been sold to them ( with trustpilot reviews) and the number was offered to call them back and start paying “ my debts” to them.. that’s absolutely disgusting.Awful.

Is this a scam nothing happens when I rang that number

Having read through some of these comments, I doubt all of this has been one series of honest mistakes. It smells of a deliberate scam attempt to me, This company needs investigated. I just got a letter addressed to by dad, who passed away almost a decade ago, was 80 years old at the time, and he never had a phone contract with anyone! never even used a frigging mobile phone ffs... now '3' are chasing him for over £350. F'ing scumbags!

I had a letter through post saying I had a outstanding balance with Tesco mobile 242.49 which is not true saying the debts been passed to Lowell and this phone number to ring I’ve obviously not rang but concerned they have my name and address!

I have received a letter saying I owe £266.81 , plus had phone calls saying I owe this to Vodafone who have sold the debt to Lowell .I am un aware of any debt . so rang Vodafone and asked they confirmed I owe nothing .They are disgusting low life people who cause worry and upset ,

Had a letter say I had an outstanding account with sky uk limited and that lower had be assigned to recover the debt of £270 I have not had sky for over 20 year contact sky there was no outstanding debtSCAM

I received a letter from them dated 23rd feb 2018 saying i owe £65.55. I had a phone from T mobile back in 2013. No sim just the phone, paid £7.50 a month for the two year contract, got rid of the phone but forgot to cancel DD so paid another year and three months payments then contacted 3mobile who then took another £16.85 from me to end the account. No way after all this time do i owe them anything.

I received a letter saying I owed £19.06 for a 3 account from 6 years ago, don't remember having an account with them, and I certainly don't owe any money to anyone, looks like a scam!

I have received a letter from Lowell debt collection agency saying they have bought my debt off EE, £13.87p, I cant think when i last had anything to do with EE, it's years and years, I have never had any correspondence of any kind from EE, i've been asked by the debt company to ring them on the above number, probably a premium rate number as well. I think its a scam, can anyone verify this,Thanks
