Lowel Debt collection. Don't answer!! Keep blocking!! If you do, Make sure you say you don't know who the person is they are looking for. Otherwise they will know that your mobile is live... They will always keep pestering!
These debt collection companies try to find debtors by ringing numbers SOLD to them by other debt collection companies who have given up their own searches. When you answer they then know your number is 'live' so when they give up their search they then sell YOUR number to the next company. Buy a good call guard as I did and then PEACE. Best £40ish I've ever spent but then again maybe phone companies in on it. Who knows? I thankfully no longer care. HAPPY DAYS!
Missed call followed by 3 unwanted text messages from Lowell. Mystery is that I cannot block the number as all my phone records is Lowell and when I try it says no valid telephone number. I can delete them so I will continue to do so.
Someone from Lowell Finance, Fishing for information. 'Could I speak to 'Gail''?... Sorry no one by that name lives here. 'Do you live at such and such address''?... No, This is not that address. So where did Lowell's get my ex-directory number, Who is Gail, And why ask about a fictitious address?

Debt collectors - don't give out name or personal information - fishing. They have a range of numbers with same 0333 556 prefix to get around blocking. A debtor gave them my number randomly and they have been calling for months despite my number registered with TPS.
0333 numbers are examples of a non-geographic phone numbers. These are numbers that are not linked to any locality within the UK. They were introduced in 2007 as an alternative to the traditional landlines that were usually assigned geographically through the use of a system of location-specific area codes. All 0333 numbers are landline numbers. However, unlike the ‘01’ or ‘02’ landline numbers, you cannot identify the area 0333 numbers are associated with.
