So this call was from a robot at SSE. My CallBlocker took it and asked the caller to identify themselves, but the caller being a robot began drivelling on about a smart meter until my CallBlocker thought the callers name to be rather long and hung up. Ironically I had already initiated a switch to another supplier due to SSE notifying me of an end of fixed term increase of roughly seventy percent.

Called by this number 7.10 evening ‘ didn’t answer call as didn’t recognise number - didn’t leave message on answer machine so I guess it’s a nuisance caller —— there’s a lot of this type of calls on land lines nd mobile every day ... Real nuisance ...

They keep ringing but never leave a message. I'll keep ignoring their calls.

This number keeps phoning many times, if it is SSE number. I do not want a smart metre or any offers they are offering. Do not keep phoning my mobile or landline. Not a happy happy customer:(

3 times this number has phoned me, once at 8:30pm. It is an unknown number so i don't answer it. No message was left.

Again, called me claiming to be from Co op Bank. With my assistance, £5k was moved through my bank account. Thankfully Co op realised something fishy and blocked my account. Please don't be conned like I was!

If you phone SSE Customer Service on 0345 026 4612 and tell them you don't want a smart meter and ask them to stop the calls, hopefully the mobile phone calls will stop straight away. It is so annoying I agree!

03450783248 IS A SCAM – called me on an unlisted number! Claimed to be Amazon and about to charge me £79.99 to renew my Prime Account. If I wanted to cancel, I should press 1 to speak to an adviser - no doubt to solicit my personal details like name, bank account, address, etc. DO NOT BE CONNED.

Had this number ring me at 1,52pm wanted to install a smart meter i agreed to have it done, was told to hold on a while for an appointment waited, then their phone hung up.

A man who said that he is from HSBC called. He said that there is a suspicious card transaction, before stopping that, I have to provide some details to prove that I am the account holder. Received a call from a Tom Read from this number supposedly from co op bank fraud department. Said I would call the bank to make sure. They have no record of calling me.

SSE called 4x today, I don't answer so they leave a voicemail asking me to call them back if I want them to stop calling

Said they were from SSE and that they wanted to make an appointment to fit a smart meter. I said ‘no'. They then asked ‘why not?'!!..... Eh cos I said no. End of!!

I received a call from this number today (03450783248). I never answer any calls from numbers that I do not recognise. There was no message left and checking this site made me realise it was a nuisance call anyway. Just to make all aware, when the number rang it actually showed on the screen of my phone as ~rDisp4 wither the danger sign (red circle with diagonal line from left to right). I hope this helps :-)

It's not fraud. It's SSE which is a gas and electric supplier.

Claimed to be from sse requesting appointment for smart meter but asked me my name and full address... No way do I give that information to any cold caller.
