Called from Churchill dealing with my insurance claim, since we got the payout for the claim i can assure you it’s genuine.

This actually a subsiduary of Direct Line

when I phoned the number a recorded message said it was UK Insurance. Still non the wiser as the recorded voice said nothing to worry about, we will call back....odd.

This number is for UK Insurance Ltd. They operate Travel insurance for Nationwide customers and others.

Phoned and left a voicemail claiming to be direct line. And to phone bak a different number. I contacted direct line myself and they said there is no record on my policy of anyone trying to contact me. And could potentially be a scam.

This number originates from Privilege Insurance a division of Direct Line Insurance and in my case was to follow up on a claim.

This number is really not a scam and it is belong to Direct Line insurance claims line!!! So someone please remove these false comments.M :-(

DLG Legal Services - Calling regarding a motor claim which I opened.

Called me claiming to be from Direct Line about an accident I was involved in back in December. Utter rubbish. They couldn't give any details about it and quickly hung up.

Constant hassling

Again, called me claiming to be from Co op Bank. With my assistance, £5k was moved through my bank account. Thankfully Co op realised something fishy and blocked my account. Please don't be conned like I was!

‘UK insurance’ - said ‘not to worry’ we’ll call back if it’s important. end quote. If this is genuine then they would leave a message. Basic good manners and communication. On balance I would therefore say it must be a scam or pretty shoddy - and unworthy of any response. If it is a new way of contacting people they had better think again.

Pretending to be from Direct Line Car Insurance.

I've had two calls today from this number and on both occasions as soon as I've said hello they've hung up.Coincidence that earlier today I've had to deal with Churchill insurance, due to their incompetence and mismanagement, who have ignored four letters in writing and various e mails from me telling them I do not want to renew my insurance with them. Suddenly after threatening to take my problem to the Financial Services Ombudsman, I start getting calls from this number.....

This is a genuine number used by Direct Line too. Hopefully this site will remove the note claiming this is a scam.

Received a text claiming needing postage for a delivery followed by a call from this number who claimed to be Coop bank. Called Coop and its a scam.

The reason I know this is Direct Line and not a scam is they sent me a txt message when I could not answer the call and related to a recent accident I had reported.

This number is for Direct Line Insurance, who called me regarding a recent accident involving one of our cars.

This number jsut called me, claiming to be Direct Line. To get through secruity they asked for the first line of my address and postcode. As they called me, I refused to give this.

This is a company connected to Direct line insurance and possibly other insurance companies. they called me in connection with my insurance claim to arrange a damage assessment visit.Unfortunately my phone identified it as potential fraud and I didn't answer.

Genuine number from UKI Insurance who underwrite for DirectLine, Churchill, Nationwide, RBS, Natwest and a load of others. They rang to go through a pet quote I asked for on Churchill

Unsolicited scam call

Just called me on my mobile regarding Churchill Insurance, asked a security question at which point I replied : tell me what it is about first and then she put me on hold and I put the phone down.

Scam. Man said he was calling from Priviledge insurance. When asked what was the nature of the call, he said cant disclose till we answered security questions

I suspect this is a scammer number disguised as genuine HSBC number. A call from this number sounded exactly the same as some previous scam call which trick me into giving them the last ten digits of my credit card number and then fooled me to give them the one time passcode to consent to a transaction.

Received a call from a Tom Read from this number supposedly from co op bank fraud department. Said I would call the bank to make sure. They have no record of calling me.

This was a call from Direct Line regarding an accident that I had witnessed. I let it go to ansafone and called back.

I just got a call from this number claiming to have news about my insurance claim with RBS travel insurance. Was very believable/realistic until it asked me for my sort code and account number! I would say this is quite dangerous?

Its the Direct Line claim team. They followed up the missed call with an email rather than leave a voice message

Called today by this lot saying they wanted to speak to me about a claim i had made and they were from Nationwide Insurance. Never been with them PLUS they didn't ask for anyone just wanted to do data protection questions!!! Idiots.

Direct Line called me back on this number to answer a question- no problem with it.

They call me three times per week to talk about a Car accident I was involved in two years ago... Which never happened. Very abusive when told not to call again.

Called me today claiming to be from Churchill Insurance and asked me to clear security wanting my home address. I stopped the Scottish lady straight away. She said OK please call us anytime. Blocked the number

Direct Line Group or its subsidiaries - majour insurance provider in the UK. Completely legit.

Just had a call pretending that I had a claim against me re an accident and that it was DIRECT LINE - very good scammer - BEWARE - do not give any details and put the phone down

Claimed to have an arrest warrant on me unless I pressed 1. It was an electronic voice reading off a script.

This number is not legitimate - variously confirming to be a law firm, Insurance firm, HMRC. Now had several calls from them on different dates.

Told me they were from Sainsbury's car insurance but wouldn't tell me why they were calling until I passed security by giving my date of birth and address

Just had a call and they said it's regarding your privilege car insurance but didn't told me what exactly until I pass security I said I have no time for this sounded dodgy anyway and I'm not with privilege insurance anymore

Said it was Direct Line and said that I had asked for a quote for Pet Insurance. I hadn't.

Churchill insurance regarding an accident I hadn't been in. Suspected a scam and rang Churchill directly within 30 minutes. They confirmed that the call was from their claims department and gave exact same details. Part of the Direct Line Group calls centre.

They left a voicemail claiming to be Churchill Home Insurance, Asked me to call back on 0345 309 2935. I did not call back as I don't have any insurance with them.

Called saying they were from nationwide (and I am a nationwide customer). I gave my address but when they asked for my city of birth I hung up.

This number is fine as belongs to Churchill claims dept

UK Insurance provide underwriting services to lots of companies. Most banks or building societies who provide travel or other insurance use them as do Direct Line, Churchill, Green Flag and lots of others.
