I have received several calls from these people stating they are from the IRS. I hung up on them because I know that IRS would never call a number and not know the name of the person they are calling.

received same message about IRS lawsuit/arrest on Mar 7 2018. Live in Arizona

They called, I didn't answer, but left a message saying call back before they continue with the lawsuit.

I also have received two calls this morning from that number telling me they are the IRS and threatening me with imprisonment

Fake calls from IRS

Received a call from this number. I let it go to my answering machine like I always do if I don't recognize a number. It did say there was a warrant out for my arrest so contact that number at my earliest convience. I pivked up at the end to see if someone would speak but they hung their recordering up. I have had calls like this for years and just kerp ignoring them. Besides the IRS if thats who their impersonating said they never call they will always write a letter.
